Mt. Lebo, Preds, Icemen, PPE, Esmark, Vengence all fielding AAA teams. I'm wondering if PAHL will be able to survive. Who is left? NP, AHA, WM, SCIR. PAHL is becoming a watered dowl version of what is once was. Call it what you want but it looking more and more like a house league division.

This is awesome news. Now WPA can have it's own AAA league like in Detroit. Our kids won't have to travel 16 of 18 weekends and hundreds of players from around the country (and in Esmark's case the world) will come here to experience the joy and privilege of playing AAA hockey, a level they were born to play. The 40 -80 AAA players from WPA no longer have to leave the area to find their rightful place on AAA rosters instead of A Black. And with the higher class means better coaching, better use of resources and much better product so the parents won't feel bad about shelling out a few extra thousands for this happen. Glorious day. Never thought I would live long enough to see this happen. Just hope Corona doesn't get me before the season starts.

With that being said, you could also make the same argument for AAA hockey.
