seems like people finally figured out what the laughingstock over at frozen pond really is 18u folded,06 is weak once again, somehow was able to field two 07 teams and then 08 and 09 will be what you expect it to be

Absolute truth.  16U (the only decent AAA team they have) took the best defenseman from 15U and also were platooning in a few other kids as well I believe.  And yes, they also held 'tryouts' to backfill the lost defenseman and only got one sucker to fall for it.  Kid was playing A+ in PAHL.

The reason why these teams exist is because local kids used to be able to  make pens.Now after U12 they cut all the locals and have kids from all over the place move to play

The point I was trying to make was that the faux-AAA teams would've been exposed if they played games against Allegheny, Mid-State, etc.

 

I completely agree with this. However, I think if you get rid of the faux-AAA teams like Icemen, SHAHA, and Mt. Lebo, it will help organizations like Allegheny compete for a high rank every year.

Lebo is not a faux they are the best U15 team around here besides pens 

What has been going on at the preds ? I heard kids are moving up and down from 15u to 16u and they have kids joining in the middle of the season. Is there any truth to this ?

Heard there was a kid from Florida staying with a family on the team so he can play on this U15 “ AAA “ team couldn’t make the AAA team at the Everblades so his family decided to ship him up to this joke

U15 Icemen is ran by the 04 bv parents from last year dw wanted to have a team so he promised all of those parents lots of ice time ,  There is talented Kids on that team but they are getting benched for the bv kids. Surprised nobody has left yet

Last night I watched part of the U-14 Icemen vs Charlotte Rush game.  Fun game to watch, and Rush were leading 1-0 at the end of the first period when I left.  Icemen forwards looked aggressive and fast, however they couldn't sustain a rush as most of the time was spend in their own end.  If they have a weakness its their D line.  Anyone know the final score?

Since Icemen are playing as an Ind. what's the word on PAHL U-14, particularly AA and BY 06.........who looks good so far? 

Scir 05 they have a lot more size then icemen and are a very skilled team

Let me enlighten you guys on a few things. 

 

1) it was not a invitational. It’s was the harbor center tournament hosted by the junior sabers. Anyone can pay the money to get in. All the top U15 teams were in Chicago, the tier 1 elite invitational or the north east showcase. The harbor center tournament is a fund raiser for the sabers. It’s never been high end. It’s filled with 80% buffalo teams. Do you think ppe would have a tournament and let icemen, esmark, Lebo and predators  in it ? Come on. 

 

2) you beat Amherst who is traditionally  weak at every age group. You tied the buffalo red raiders. This team was a bad AA team last year and you beat esmark who is now proven to have a crap 04 team. It took them 3 years to finally field that mess.  1-2-1 in pool play with a consolation win vs a local team. Yep you guys are world beaters. 

 

3) all the stats are online. I’ll give the goalie dad credit early. It’s working out for him. Seeing lots of shots. Congratulate the same 3 kids that scored all the points for your team. 

 

Come back with your argument when you beat someone that will be ranked above 75. 

But why did the PPE 06 gold team play in this then ?
