  1. Position doesn’t matter at that age, just let the kid play & have fun. let them play forward and defense. You can spend all the money in the world on training, it won’t matter in the end unless the player is having fun. There is only a hand full of “studs” by the age of 16 in all of North America. I am personally against AAA until the age of 13 - 14. I’ve seen so many talented kids get burned out by 16.
  2. It’s not false, the bill has not been to the house floor for a vote!
  3. I stand behind the quote, I’m not disputing that. I already stated I hope to be proven wrong. For the sake of these kids, I HOPE I AM WRONG. 3 dems being on board is not a 2/3rd vote. As I’ve told you above, this bill is nothing like 2787, it goes against the governors recommendations and mandate. You accuse me of doing nothing to help but we’ve both apparently done the same thing. you completely glossed over the other things you have accused me of.
  4. @fafa fohi what have you actually done besides flap your gums here ? I got some non hockey people to call their local reps. again, please tell us all what you have personally done. If you scroll through this entire thread, you will see I have been a huge supporter, trying to help all these kids get back on the ice. I’m still waiting for you to show me when and where I’ve bragged about my kids, I’ve only answered about them when ask. Letting folks know my oldest was skating at alpha with high level kids was not one, I’ll debunk that for you now before you try to twist the narrative, that thread was about Alpha being open early, folks wanting to know who, why and how.
  5. Buddy, come back when they vote, I would very much like to be wrong. You’re just flapping your gums like Gary at this point. What did your ever prove me wrong on ?
  6. The folks I know are very confused at the moment, they are asking for more clarity. It sounds like it will be similar to pa with The limits. We all known how that is working out. Victory Honda & Belle Tire have purchased ice in northern Michigan (traverse), unfortunately for one family we are friends with, it’s a 3 hour drive to practice.
  7. “The Pennsylvania Department of Health reported 891 new coronavirus cases Friday, marking an uptick in infections in recent days.” Good luck with that bipartisan bill, the election is getting closer - covid cases are now going up! 3 dems support 2832, yep that will get it done.
  8. Completely ignored the rebuttal I gave you in regards to the argument you started with me.
  9. We are not talking about 2787, that bill doesn’t do anything for hockey. That was also an easy flip, why do you think wolf Came our an hour before the vote and said sure specters can go BUT limits will not be raised.
  10. Please dig back and tell me when I recited my sons great career. I have only done so when ask about it. do you understand what this next bill is ? Did you read it ? It’s going straight party line. Wolf will be able to veto it. They don’t want indoor limits raised. Did you watch the floor sessions Tuesday and wed ? I did. scroll back in this thread, I am the one that was calling friends not involved in hockey, in a district (mt lebo) I don’t live in to help get rep miller to flip on 2787, he was a NO. did the four Lebo residents that contacted him for me help ? I don’t know but I’ve done my part and I still am. I would like to see my niece play her first full ice game this season! I’ve contacted my local rep, I’ve contacted non hockey families in other districts to help pressure those reps. come back to this post when the votes are released for 2832, when it’s not veto proof because the democrats voted straight party line. you do sound about as brilliant as Gary, you horse tooth jackass.
  11. I have his number. You just said it yourself ? the money all goes to the rink, The rink is owned by the same guy that also owns the vengeance. it’s just moving money around.
  12. Yes because she’s a Democrat. They are voting party on everything else lately. I watched the streams all week during the house votes, they are getting more heated as it goes with each other. let’s face it - the democrats side with wolf. That’s just the way politics are. 2838 goes completely against wolf, raises limits indoor based on capacity, not just 25 regardless of a buildings size.
  13. That’s great and all, now write her about HB 2832. That’s the bill that helps hockey, I’m sure you will get a hard NO.
  14. No it’s really not, he owns the rink and the vengeance. I personally know him. You can say money is changing pockets however you like but in the end he is the owner.
  15. The good dr owns the rink and vengeance, Scir buys ice from him. You are correct about USA hockey roster software.
  16. Two owners of rinks mentioned to me this is the bill that needs passed for hockey. HB 2787 does ZERO for hockey.
  17. One of the bills, what hockey people really need to pass is HB 2832 - good luck getting the dems to flip on that! It raises the indoor limits to 50%.
  18. Nothing on the national level in hockey is a secret let alone the local level. Why do you think the king deleted his account and wanted his posts taken down ?
  19. You could play those same games here at alpha or ice castle, they are just not sanctioned games. The games won’t count towards district playoffs or tier 2 national bound teams.
  20. Tier 3 juniors is pay to play. The EHL is a decent league, everything else not so much. The level of play is pretty weak. 16/18U AAA is higher quality hockey. The 19 & 20 year olds playing on the vengeance are probably on the same level as the kids playing 18U AAA at a place like the predators, but the kids at the vengeance are older. Take a look at last years vengeance roster on elite prospects, that will paint the picture for you.
