Summer League Hockey Parents

Featured Replies

Both parents went full anabolic on the ref after the game.........a summer league 3/3 game.

Anyone have footage of the incident or when the game was played?  LiveBarn tells no lies.

July 20th, Olympic Rink.  Start around 4:05pm...Mom and Dad are standing directly under the Livebarn Camera so you will get a good idea of their attitude. Incident happens around 4:07pm.

Mom and Dad of the year right there - imagine what these clowns are like during an actual real game?  lol

The kid now has to endure the embarrassment.  Dad was chirping the entire game and approached the ref at the end.

LiveBarn tells no lies.

“There are several witnesses and video that show my client did come down from the stands,” attorney Phil DiLucente told TribLive on Wednesday. “But the referee was the one to lay hands first on my client before she did anything."

Scum bag lawyer trying to blame the (16 year old!) ref here.

This ladies behavior was absolutely abhorrent irregardless of 'who poked who' first.

“The aggressor, according to the video, is not my client,” DiLucente said.

How in the hell is a woman who leaves the stands and approaches the ref and gets in his face NOT the aggressor?

Scumbag lawyer for sure.

Nice..... I see from the article they're from Franklin Park.

Hopefully they have a nice big house that will soon be home to that young referee after all the proceedings are completed!!

There's another video of her in the hallway/lobby after the game acting like a lunatic.  I'm sure they're both an absolute joy to have on the team.

Nice to know it wasn't just a "heat of the moment" reaction, but that they continued to act like complete idiots even after the game as well.

What's even more sad is that if this game was July 20th that is the day they were playing the championship games (I had a kid with a game earlier that day in a different division).

So instead of letting the kids have a nice moment to end the year and get their T shirts (that's how laid back and casual this 3 on 3 Summer League is) and team photo, they continued to make it about themselves as the 'aggrieved party' because their kid laid a predatory hit that got him tossed with 9 minutes left in the season. Even if the police charges don't stick, I'm glad they got banned from the facility honestly.

We’re all forgetting their kid is elite. After all, he plays ‘AAA’.
