January 23Jan 23 Its a shame that such a big school with great history put so little effort into their hockey program. Hardly any mentions in school emails about games or scores or anything. The hire for coach was retread disaster. Practices are poorly run, lots of standing around. Tryouts were terrible run and end up costing the team players. The communication between staff and players are non existent. When coaches tell you dont talk to us, we dont want to hear from you. Whats that say to a player on the team? There is no system, no plays, no proper breakouts. I know parents and players are fed up. Hopefully the AD who was supposed to hire a coach with full board hired the coaches on his own and knows nothing about hockey. You think at least the AD would show his face at a game. Hopefully Central catholic wakes up and after the season they can re evaluate the program and make it successful again.

March 3Mar 3 Author Well the awful coaching showed up 2nd half of season. Central Catholic fell apart. The kids and parents are over the non coaching, terrible practices. Kids asking to work on plays or things being told no by staff. Several players said worst coaching ever had in many years of playing. Several parents dont want their sons playing for him. Many players dont want to play next season if he's the head coach. Hope Central board and AD wake up. Several emails and likely calls will be headed their way.

March 3Mar 3 I thought they looked good last night. Could have won that game. I know nothing about the team and without reading the above I would have thought they were well coached
