JOFAFAN
Any know what teams are participating at the various divisions? I recall this from a few years back this being a quality showcase of both PAHL and DVHL AA teams.

PuckHead7
Anybody have any info on this? What age groups, location, etc.
dazedandconfused
At the 14U level I think it's Allegheny, North Pitt and the Foxes (maybe). Apparently, the PAHL used the simple yet not so well received method of first to apply to go, first to get to go. This is supposed to showcase the top teams from East and West. Remember the warts that were mentioned in the mis-placement thread? Consider this a wart.
PuckHead7
I can’t find any information at all. when can you find it? Do they have it for the U16 and U18 levels?
hockeydadlife
Travelchamps.com 12u has north Pitt, Allegheny, viper stars and Shaha registered. Philly has not released the teams playing for them yet.
howard1
DVHL takes top 3 teams in divisions. They wait until season is 3/4 done. My son plays in dvhl and this is how it was done the past couple years anyway
PuckHead7
Still no solid info. Does anyone have the PAHL info email? What am I missing from TravelChamps.com? Can’t find crap on there.
Saucey
Why don't you contact someone on the Board in PAHL instead of randomly asking this board if you really need to know?

So what you’re really saying is: don’t come on here unless you are whining, complaining, cutting up on somebody, starting trouble, or just plain being an ass. I didn’t want to bother anybody on the PAHL board if I didn’t have to. I figured somebody on here would have more information than what was provided above. Sorry, my bad! hockeyisgreat
Travel champs.com site is really bad. they don't even list the dates for the tournament. Must be one of those PAHL "secrets" as to how teams get selected for the tournament.
JOFAFAN
The PAHL V DVHL "Tournament" has nothing to do with Travel Champs. I know this is directly set up between PAHL and DVHL. The original question was did anyone know what teams were playing from PAHL and DVHL at the various levels.
aaaahockey
As stated above, DVHL won't pick their teams until later in the season. PAHL bought in to this in part to showcase itself, i.e., to give families and players another reason to stay in the league and not go independent. So this selection is surprising. twoboys
North Hills isn’t independent. The North Hills Viper Stars play PW AA. 05 Viper Stars is Independent.

howard1
It is set up to showcase top 3 teams at AA level between pahl and dvhl. My experience is dvhl fields top 3 AA teams per standing but pahl did not. Last year my sons team was one of 3 top teams at u14AA in dvhl. Only one of the 3 pahl teams was top 3 the other 2 were not and got blown out. Mt lebanon AA was legit and won the whole thing.

Looking at standings, Lebo, North Pgh and SHAHA were top 3 in both PAHL standings and MYHockey rankings. So the question is, why didn’t North Pgh and SHAHA attend? dazedandconfused
As I stated earlier in this thread, it is based upon who wants to go and awarded on a first to apply basis. There is no merit system used by PAHL. Again, one of the PAHL's warts.
