This specific virus is part of a much larger family of viruses that are called Coronaviruses because of their appearance under microscopy; appearing to have a Corona or Crown. Two totally different things. I can only tell you from personal experience, the flu in years past has been harder on us. As you are aware, hockey parents seem to pick up every bug from our kids, we always fight off a few head colds a year along with the flu or stomach bug. Myself, my wife and youngest did not contract covid from him, we all live in the same house. My sister is almost 60, she claims to have had flus in the past that were much worse than covid.
