Let's take the top 6 in D2 and play the stellar six and see what happens?

Would pay to see that game. Top 6 in D2 this year were pretty damn good.

The kid from Burrell would of set records if he played all of the games. He also scored against the tougher teams in the division, not like some others. He was also a team player, when the game was in hand for Burrell, he focused on helping other kids try to score that didn't see much playing time during the season. True sportsmanship.

And yes, I am a Burrell parent.

  2. Hahaha. Here we go with off the rails rumors. Yuri actually has a pretty talented team at 16U. He didn't fold..

The 16U Vengeance team is going to be better than last year as well. They picked up a few Esmark kids from last year's 15U team who just wanted a change. The SHAHA kids that went there are pretty good players as well.

Going back to Esmark for a second year, my son had opportunities elsewhere, top 20 teams and he (and im happy) to go back. I think all organizations are based on what you make of them. If its not for you , move on. If your kid is good enough it shouldn’t be a issue .

I'll be back with my son for another year as well. Other opportunities seem to come to the Esmark players quite often including my son.

All organizations are there to make money, bottom line.

  4. Jack,

There were many 07's that didn't want to play 16U at their organizations. This was the only option for them there, no 07 teams moving forward at alot of them. Foxes, Preds, Badgers and many other kids that couldn't make one of the AAA teams were, and some probably still are, looking for a home to play 07 AA. I think that the Icemen jumped on that and had enough kids that were interested in an AA team. It was a good move by them to take advantage of it and offer this to these kids and parents.

Just from another post on this board, you get the gest that with so many kids (50-80) at all of the 07 tryouts for AAA, someone was going to do it.
