PIHL has no fault or responsibility. They are one of the best run organizations in all of youth hockey in the State of PA in my opinion. They post all rules on their website along with have monthly meetings with all School teams. It's the team's responsibility to follow the rules. While I do not agree with some of the rules it doesn't matter, they are clear. It is the team playing the other team's responsibility if they are not following them to challenge them through the process given. At that point PIHL responsibility is to resolve the matter through there rules & follow the penalties provided. PIHL = BI LAWS, HS TEAM = FOLLOW BI LAWS, HS TEAM BREAKS BI LAWS = OPPONENT RESPOSIBLE TO CHALLENGE BI LAW, PIHL = DECIDE PUNISHMENT PER GUILDINES POSTED. Let's let process not opinion drive the topic. Montour & BM made mistakes & PIHL followed the BI laws. Montour defending themselves should not be taken personal. The process played out & now it's over. Personal attacks do nothing productive but cause 700 replies'....
Finally! I agree with you!!! Thanks for being a voice of reasoning on this subject!

Great win by Norwin over McDowell in OT.
And it couldn’t happen to a nicer group of players and parents - the amount of shit talking and outlandish claims coming from McDowell all season on social media was a disgrace.
It was a great game! Pa Hockey ..thanks for presenting it to us folks that would rather sit by the fireplace than haul our butts to Erie!

Most people seemed to believe the east was much stronger than the west in A, and it's certainly looking that way early on. Will be interesting to see what norwin does up in Erie. Have to think norwin is favored.
If Norwin can shut down Mcdowell's two leading scorers, match Mcdowell's speed, they have a really good chance!

To me USC over Central Catholic and Kiski over North Hills stand out as clear upsets.
PR has been on fire lately so I am not very surprised at their win vs Seneca.
Where did Kiski come from!? It was a great game to watch!

I mean you'll be suspended ( when this is all said and done) - so what else is there for you to do other than type passive agressive messages and watch someone elses kid play hockey
Im sorry ...i have always watched someone elses kid play hockey. I'm the uncle, friend, grandparent who enjoys hockey. What some of you folks on this forum have voiced, you would have NEVER spoken face to face with those Montour folks. So...Montour is "suspended" ..does that hurt, bother me...nope! Does it hurt Montour players? Maybe, but they are kids, all they want to do is play hockey.
Take care folk! Try to be kind!

Well I think it may be time to shut this one down.
I agree. Go North Hills! Your season has been awesome! Can't wait to see your future games.

Again, you guys are blaming everyone except for the people that need to be blamed.
Not blaming. Just showing how the award thing goes! Everyone gets an award but Montour. Yay!

Meet and discuss what exactly? You guys got caught cheating 3 times this season, the last one just happen to cost your Seniors their last chance at a Penguins cup. You want to change people's minds about your organization then BLAME THE PEOPLE THAT ARE IN CHARGE OF YOUR ORGANIZATION AND LET THESE THINGS HAPPEN.
BB should get an award for doing the RIGHT THING.
BB....an award? I hope you are joking!
Snitch of the year? JMO

Stop with the bullshit. You've been on these pages whining, adding your snarky comments and pointing fingers at everyone BUT Montour for days now. It is over - get over it. Go back to your Montour hockey board, regroup and determine how this doesn't happen again.
Blaming Avonworth is complete nonsense.
Oh. ..but is it nonsense?

So what the judge is saying is that Montour once again did not file all the proper paperwork even for court. ✔️ Maybe Smith and Butz the high powered attorney's should stick to what they actually practice.
That was NOT the judges conclusion! Did you read the judges verdict? Again, your facts seem a little slanted.

Fire the volunteers!!! Off with their heads! Suspend the program for 2 years!!! Punish the kids even more than you did!!! Teach them a lesson!!! Did you people even read the summation from the judge? Or can you not comprehend? Brilliant solution. If the entire board resigns, there is no program. Nobody wants to do it but those who volunteer. So much hate to the volunteers it’s moronic.
Hey, if Montour doesn't have a team, another school can pick these players up. Then these nasty people on this forum can find shark bait somewhere else. JMO. Isn't that how you folks say it?

If it wasn't then we wouldn't be where we are right now. All they had to do last week was show the transfer paperwork and all they had was that he lives in the district. They filed the wrong paperwork and now they got caught for the 3rd time this season lying on paperwork.
Their argument in the paperwork they filed to sue is claiming they had a verbal conversation with the now passed away representative of PIHL and that it should stand because he supposedly said yes to them.
So the answer to two of my three questions is no. And you are assuming .. based on your redirection.

The answer is NO to all 4 questions. They listed the kid as a Montour resident like he has lived there his entire life.
Are you positive?? Or just assuming???
You have seen their paperwork??

Purely curious and I apologize if it’s already been discussed here, but what were the other two incidents of cheating this season?
Both in October of last year.
Too many players on bench.
Ineligible coach.
Beat you to it Pucks11!!!?

What are we missing, the COACH got caught cheating 3 times this season.
I was wondering why you repeated yourself thru out this thread. Was it the program, the parents, the players. Thank you for enlightening us with your beef with the coach!

Maybe Pihl could take a few lessons from Midams. Pihl also needs to follow their own rules as far as of playoff starting dates. Reviewing all teams before announcing who will be in playoffs and playoffs begin.
