In all honesty, if the predators could get their act together western pa has enough talent when players get to midget to support 3 real tier 1 teams. With that said, I feel there is no need to play tier 1 before the age of 13.
Danner. You are usually spot on but there aren't enough Tier 1 players to support 3 teams. Not enough Tier 1 players for even two teams. Three teams are 45 skaters.

I don't know if any of these guys can coach, especially kids at that age. But people don't get too excited about ex-NHL or ex D1 players coaching your kid(s). It doesn't mean a thing. As an example. I have played in as many NHL games as Herb Brooks, Scotty Bowman and Jerry York COMBINED.

Thanks everyone. No family trips for me next weekend and thought I would get out and check out a few games.

Just seeing if there are any local Thanksgiving tournaments. Thanks.

I heard a coach tell one parent this and I agree. Just because your kid plays AAA doesn't make him a AAA player.

i believe the player you are mentioning is Cade Webber of Meadville. He was a 4th round draft pick of Carolina. He did play for the Pens Elite for several years but spent the past couple of years in a NE prep school. So can W. PA even claim him? Regardless. Congrats to Cade and good luck at BU.

Just a little addition to the topic. I assume you'll have to pay for parking. Doubt the rink attendees will get a break or comped for parking. Probably $3 an hour. That could really add up.
