I’ll just say that I’m in favor of the development of a young athlete. I’m not interested in getting dragged into some debate over when winning becomes the most important thing. Competition is of course one of the key aspects of a player’s development.
My loyalties are to God, family and country! It’s not to the Icemen, Ppe, etc. So, in my opinion, people should make decisions that they believe are in the best interest of their children and family. I certainly don’t think it’s fair to judge, ridicule, or blackball those people who leave.
People SHOULD BE and ARE held accountable for services rendered, which is up to the point where you leave. Again, far more organizations and coaches have failed to live up to the expectations of what families should receive for their sons and daughters. When have the Icemen, PPE, Esmark Stars, Vengeance, etc etc been held accountable? Should people get a refund when their kid doesn’t play, when promises are broken or when expectations aren’t met? If so, ppe should give those 18u people their money back right now!Look this shit is corrupt as fuck! Last thing I wanna hear is some kiss ass (hockey22) preach his self righteous arrogance about how people should honor their commitment. Fuck that shit!
Spot on. What about when Esmark brings a kid from Russia and that kid isn’t spending $5k+ Like you and gets more playing time. Or when an Icemen team brings a kid from Lawrence county or whatever a major team and that kid plays more than your kid and you paid $5k+ and your team still loses. no accountability

Quoting rtruth
"Didn't BV's "NEW" board run tryouts this season? I'm glad you didn't put hat under the FACTS paragraph. You talk about posting negative and false posts, your kid must have been the one that didn't make the "Mite Elite Team"! "
I'm sure you know this but, here it is for everyone else. I was referring to previous years tryouts. BV's "NEW" board did not run tryouts this year. They had an outside group of individuals (PHA ran tryouts ) so as to end the long-standing BV tradition of hand selecting a certain team, ie the 04 team. Another fact, this group of parents was so upset about there actually being fair tryouts that they asked the rink ownership if they could just put their team together .... a clear violation of USA Hockey rules (closed tryouts) .... you would think the Pahl president would know better. Once again, please feel free to confirm this with the rink management. More facts, I never had a kid play or tryout for any BV team, so there goes that "sour parent" tune you are trying to play. I did have a kid play for Fritz several years ago. Besides his over the top ego, he's not a bad guy. Speaking of sour parents, based on your very few posts, you seem to know a lot about the 04 BV team. Now, your post makes perfect sense.
end of year for the 04s. awful year. Thousands of dollars. a few kids quit with a few weeks left. parents have zero communication with the coach. one goalie was blamed for losses. great results.

So how did the Icemen fare in the MidAm? Will the Yetis and Icemen be the next place to run to?
heard the 15u had a few kids leave ?
if you want to spend thousands of dollars, have a terrible coach,, and lose to AA teams, then join the icemen
