national Elite always has a good checking camp. Focus more on angles. A lighter punching bag that he can hit with his equipment on dry land is a nice investment too

It doesn't matter because in the long run if the kid is good locally then they leave before any of these organizations can fully develop them. 

What I meant by PPE being true AAA is they play top tier opponents and are more nationally recognized. Teams playing locally would be Badgers, SHAHA, Vengeance, Esmark. That would be some awesome hockey. Maybe they could get the Icemen in their for a warm up. 
shaha played palmyra and got crushed twice. I don’t know if they played with an empty net or what but the scores were lopsided. So they drove clear to Philly to be reminded that one good forward doesn’t make a team. Just seems crazy that the organizations with teams that can compete don’t play each other more locally. Now where’s my cigarettes?

I don’t care where people take there children to play. I was referring more to the fact that the teams would be more competitive locally. You can start a AAAA division and parents will throw their wallets at it.  The AA/AAA local teams could play a tournament every season if they wanted too. It would be good competitive hockey. Which is great for the sport and kids who will play beer league where they are playing AAA/AA now or the very high division of independent. Parents and Coaches worry to much about hockey rankings. Drop the puck and play.

At least you have it figured out. I could care less about ppe or any other team. It is just funny to watch people travel 5 hours when there is a team they could play in their area. Hard to be with impressed with 2 in ten years. High schools up North have put more in the nhl  then that 

Does anyone else besides me think that the AAA scene is a money grab?

PPE is the only true AAA Team in my opinion. 
 

imagine if these teams ( icemen, vengeance, Esmark) competed more locally. There would be some great hockey games. Teams are driving 5+ hours away to be AAA. Just parents chasing status in my opinion. PPE isn’t getting kids to the next level, so I can’t imagine a chain smoking guy who barely speaks English out of New Ken is going to do it either.  Just trying to get the conversation rolling again.

That isn't the case. I just am sad for the kids involved and one happens to be a son of a great friend of mine. he has learned a great lesson from this, that's for sure.

I am hoping all involved have learned how things can go sideways.

All involved? Like the kid that was taking the camp seriously and was assaulted by innocent kids out past curfew?What’s the sleeping players lesson in this? Sleep with one eye open? Players that you have shared ice and locker rooms with are not to trusted? Only thing those four kids are sorry for is getting caught

It would of been all over the news as well. Think about it.

So if nothing was on the video why the suspensions or early dismissal from camp. So Safesport is just randomly targeting kids?  I know if any of those four kids were mine, I would be so embarrassed. What a lack of character and such disrespect to a fellow local hockey player. Good thing none of the four innocent silver spoon players are yours. Let us know when your kids buddy gets the papers saying it was all a misunderstanding. Be happy to spread the news. Ask his parents if he still has to pay tuition for ppe or the other money grab Esmark. What a kick in the butt that would be if they were paying and fundraising while watching.

How about when it comes out that this was based on the lies and ever changing stories of a kid that is on another PA AAA team based out of Hershey, you guys come up with a suggested punishment for him for starting all of this mularkey. 

I feel bad for all these kids involved. They just want to get past this and stop hearing the rumors and their names be cleared. I'm sure if their organizations thought for even a second after talking to these kids, that they did anything wrong, they would of been kicked out already.

Imagine if one of these kids were yours and people were spreading rumors without even knowing who these kids were or even anything about them. I can speak for some of the kids because, yes I know them. They have been put through alot of crap for this and telling the truth didn't help them at the time, but now that the truth is coming out through investigation, i can't wait to hear Nemesis's plan of punishment for dishonesty. Maybe it will be death by hanging in Station Square.

FYI, the video doesn't show anything close to tea-bagging, circle jerking, sodomy or any other rumors that are floating around.

Agreed the rumor mill has definitely spread a bunch of good stories concerning this. We are all happy that after you watched the video you came to the conclusion that nothing was wrong. Did you get that video from the police in Ohio or is Shingles dad showing it around, so he can get back in with ppe? Everyone makes mistakes, including youth hockey players. If it was anything egregious it probably would have been dealt with quicker than this. Whatever happened should have been dealt with by now. That’s Safesports mistake for sure.
