  1. Yeah there’s a definite agenda here to save face by a group of individuals. Suggesting Montour screwed up ad nauseam. Holy hell. We all get it and largely agree. You can’t deflect away from the people who used this “screw up” to their advantage and did so in a cowardly way. While having a bunch of teenagers act as collateral. You can sit and claim moral high ground all you want, tell people to get mad at Montours board. If the people who ratted them out were such high standing individuals - they would have taken every other Montour player in to consideration and brought this up early on. They didn’t, so they’re just as big of scum bags as anyone else who may or may not have been attempting to take advantage of a situation involving kids.

If I’m another adult in this situation. Even if I know the opposing coach is doing this intentionally, I’m not going to sit on it and use it to my benefit when the time is right. Knowing that it’s going to screw over a whole roster of kids that did nothing wrong. It’s pathetic. You can keep making your comments about Montour being to blame, sure, they are… The clowns that took it and turned it into a chess piece are still rats, they’re still pathetic.

  2. Aaaahockey. You follow me around this board with your 4 usernames in attempts to provoke me. You’re upset that you perceived me to have the upper hand in explaining how people from the east won’t want to drive to Southpointe - now you seemed to develop an obsession. Until you give me a date and a time to meet and play hockey, get to know one another, you are a cuckhold and I will consider you as such. I will not be responding to you, your other name you use heavily and the two others that always show up to chime in for you. You are on my cuck list until further notice.

You have your shot, and I’ve posted more than enough information about myself here. Let’s see if your energy stays the same in person. If not, continue to sit in the chair in the corner and watch Flavi do his thing.

  3. And the sick white gloves thing won’t work. Not going to show up and “play hockey” with some random you know that you’re trying to get me to go after to “play hockey”’with. Grow up.

I’ll be present and whoever wants some action can come pull me aside. I’ll be doing my thing until then. Won’t be approaching anyone. Don’t need to know who you are or what kind of thong you have on. Nothing. You come ask me if I want to play some hockey and we’ll play some hockey.

  5. Exactly the type of goober lunacy I’m talking about - “name me one billet in pihl”. Who actually knows all that information other than one of these parents that sits around and creates a database of every kid that their son plays against - his birth certificate up to and including his grades and god knows what else. WEIRDOS.

Name one other kid in PIHL who is billeting with a family and playing on the high school team.  You can’t, because there aren’t any, because it is against the rules.  The rules that every org knows all about both in writing and in Team Manager meetings.
If this was not a rule, it is true that not many high school teams would recruit kids to billet, although some would, but it also true that this scenario would inevitably take place just as it has unfolded in this case, where the Travel Team teammate (or their parents, talking to one another at AAA practice) suggest it: “hey, you should play on our high school team”.

Reply: “doesn’t your high school team have a goalie”.

    “Yes, but he sucks”.

“Oh, there aren’t any rules against that?”

“not sure, but we can check and find out”

both parties (Montour and those who turned them in) can be deemed to have acted “shady” or “not nice”, but only Montour  BROKE THE RULES

Not disputing that Montour broke the rules. I’m calling out the cowards that didn’t say anything about it from the get go - as to avoid disrupting other kids seasons. It’s just the right thing to do as an adult. Don’t use it as a chess piece, as was done here. Cowards and weasels. Simple as.

  7. Why wasn’t it brought up earlier in the season?

We know why. We also know that the group of individuals who knew about it knew that it had potential to screw over kids. The right thing to do was to address it as it happened intially so the rest of Montours roster could go on with their season. Instead, it was sat on and used as a ploy. Like I said maybe Montours admins sacrifice babies and sell heroin, or maybe they’re clueless. Maybe they just didn’t know and thought they did the right thing. But there’s no disputing the intentions of the adults who brought it up, and when they brought it up. To me, that’s cowardly and pathetic, much more so than some kid from 20 miles away getting some extra playing time for a high school he goes to…

  8. Danner, you self identify as someone who has pull on a message board. I have pull in real life. Nobody thinks Montour is clean, but everyone sees the timing of this for what it is.

Bring it to light in November - no one bats an eye. Bring it to light now - you’re a rat who was looking for a come uppence at the expense of innocent kids.

    Simple as. Toodles.

  9. Anyone who wants to play and have a meet up… please let me know and I will be there. It would be so cool to meet some of you in person since we have had so much dialect here. No need to give me your gear set up, I’ve given mine. Just pull me aside and introduce yourself. Would love to chat. Let me know if anyone plans on going and I’ll go.

  11. All of the sudden the turds I’m calling out have talked to other AA and AAA coaches lol

You weasels are all the same and this is your only medium to make your hollow points. You get laughed at in person, and you atleast have the self awareness to realize it. So continue on with your narrative here, this is the only place is appears to be standing. Walk into ice castle and say the same thing, you’re going to get an eye roll and some blank stares.

  12. I can’t speak for Montour board or coaching. Nothing to say. I have no knowledge on that end.

It doesn’t take a scholar to see that this was let go the entire season, then used as a ploy. That’s my beef. Maybe Montours admin did it on purpose and they drink baby blood to boot - great - why didn’t someone bring it up early on? Now a whole roster of kids and seniors has to act as collateral.

  13. You dorks accuse me of everything. Go read the wait a second thread - I was a parent of an Esmark kid and I lived out east. Now I’m a Montour parent.

The truth is - I’m just calling it exactly like it is on the current topic. I know a lot about the local scene. I know many people.

  14. There is so much bitch made stuff that goes on like this in the Pittsburgh hockey community. Not so much in AAA, but PAHL and high school hockey. Just absolute weasels always circling the wagon. It’s nausea inducing. I feel whole heartedly for the people who have to deal with these kind of shit heads every season. It’s not as prevalent in AAA travel, as you aren’t around other teams enough to inspire the weaseling, but the teams playing locally - god do some of you people have to put up with more than enough. It’s always some conspiracy in PAHL and High School. Always have a network of male karens checking the other teams birth certificates or whether the ref is up to date on his certifications.

Also the kid is from Ohio. OMG that’s like 5k miles away… this would be like Montour recruiting in Quebec for a goalie. As David pokes his glasses back up his nose and calls Mark right away to let him know “we got them”…

  15. They’re billeting the kid for Esmark. Billets don’t grow on trees. There are some in that org billeting two players. The absolute goofiest talking point is that this kid was intentionally placed in Montour to be their goalie.

You’re just a bunch of whiners who couldn’t beat the kid, but were kaniving enough to wait it out and use it as a chess piece. You’re pathetic none the less.

Stop the whining and just go beat the kid. Same mindset for high school football when you’re up against a Catholic school that recruits. Bring it up in November or shut your hoe mouth and go score some goals. Absolute losers you are, and anyone who defends Montour kids losing out on a season. I hope their attorney sues so hard that Avonworth has to shut the street lights off to pay court fees

  16. Montour people,

There are individuals who use this message board as an outlet for gratification much beyond most of our understanding. Quite a few people who don’t have self awareness and aren’t taken seriously when they try to get their talking points across in person. It makes them feel powerful to post their opinion here, then support it by responding to themselves with their second and third username. It’s very common here unfortunately.

While I can’t speak for your coach - your kids did nothing wrong. They don’t deserve this outcome. A lot of people outside of your coaching and board - “letting this go” all season, only to raise an issue this late in the game - speaks for itself. It’s a hit piece and it was used as a strategy to derail your team. This is the common thought process when this subject is spoken about in person. Many people are “on your side”. Nobody in their right mind thinks the kid was placed in Montour to play for the high school team - especially given the family he’s with who go above and beyond for every single team their kids participate with.

This board has some real goobers who flock to each other and make it seem as if their narrative speaks for the hockey world. Please dont give these people any mind.
