Here is an idea, DON'T CHEAT?. 3 times this season they were caught now.

PIHL playoff brackets are out and Avonworth is in with Montour no where to be found.

Any clue as to why the rule is different for foreign students since you know all the facts and have all the answers?  I have been curious about that.  Seems a little discriminatory.  Shouldn’t it apply to all students?  I understand that there are way more foreign billeting students playing in the PIHL than American billeting kids.  Is that true or false?  Someone out there has had to have done the background checks and compare rosters in their free time.  Hit me with the info!

The FACTS are they had 2 previous suspensions this season and 1 was for an unrostered coach and 1 for dressing to many players. If Livebarn was their argument they could have pulled those videos and appealed the suspensions but they didn't. It doesn't matter if it was Wayne or Brett Gretzky if the player did not have the proper paperwork then Montour for the 3rd time this season deserves a suspension.

BTW Livebarn only goes back 1 month and those incidents occurred in October.

Said billet family is also the same family that was scheduling skating and skills classes under their name a few years ago because the person actually holding the classes was suspended by USA hockey to do things under his name.

Everyone just stop replying to "Yalldumb" it is clearly a young kid that lacks the basic skills of understanding what's right and what's wrong. They played the game a lost. Deal with it. The scary thing is they played the game with other peoples’ money!  They may need that attorney after all. 

They may have been able to "try" and play dumb if they didn't have 2 other infractions that they were suspended for this season in using an unrostered coach and dressing to many players for a game. Those both could easily say they knew exactly what they were doing with this kid.

That's not the point, if the coach/organization did not file the proper paperwork because he is not an actual resident of the district then it was illegal for him to play. I see the same billet kid at my kids school everyday too, it doesn't mean he is eligible to play for their school team.

played the majority of his games vs the bottom teams   Lost to QV 4-1 in his only start vs a team that made the playoffs   
 

so, um, not really “pretty solid”

 

 

Solid or not their argument that they didn't have enough goalies when 3 are rostered is BS. Other teams played the entire year with 1 goalie between JV and V.

Not only the board but the coaches. Montour has already had 2 previous suspensions this season for none rostered coaches and to many players dressed. It sucks for the kids but the adults made the decisios coaches and board. If they are found to have done something wrong with this goalie it shouldn't come to anyone's surprise.
