We get it, your kid plays for neshannock. It’s that a real division ?
I think so. Didn't Ringgold beat your beloved Esmark superstars that were playing in this fake division a few years ago?
-
Some did, some didn't. I have no idea why.
-
I honestly am surprised this hasn't happened lately in the lobby after the game. Some of these clowns call the kids names and point at them and basically call them out like they are at a Flyers game. I've seen it, I've told people to watch what they say...and I get yelled at by mom's. They actually do need a good punch in the face. There used to be repercussions stuff like that. Hopefully this will shut up you idiots who like screaming crap at high school kids playing a sport.

What about the person in the stands who apparently engaged and goaded the player? Will he or she get banned from future PIHL events. If there is cell phone video it should be easy to identify this person or persons! If it was a Latrobe fan or parent shouldn't there program identify and somehow ban this person?
I'm with you on this. Some of these parents this they can call these kids names and yell crazy stuff at them. Some of them won't take it.

Canadian teams didn't go....winning it kinda doesn't really count.

Speaking of eliteprospects, anyone know why D2 hasn't been added this year? All the other teams have been.

Nice to see RMU getting semi and final games with more restrictions than Wolf recommends. How stupid can PIHL be scheduling games there? It's a shame.

A team like Lebo could play an independent AA/AAA schedule but go for a National title at AA, which wouldn’t be easy. At U14, Lebo went 1-2 at Tier 2 Nationals; since switching to AAA, they are 1-5 at Mid Ams (as U15 and U16). I don’t know anything specific about this team, but would bet that it’s made up 5-6 top kids and 10-12 kids who wouldn’t really be considered AAA players. That’s true of many teams ranked in the 40s to 60s.
He doesn't know specifics, yet knows what their records are. ?

Fight happens with 2:15 left in the third if anyone wants to get right to it.
Gotta love the group of squirts in the corner waiting to take the ice watching this unfold. Preds player takes a run at Huskies player with a 5-2 lead in the 3rd. Classy stuff right there.
I don't have a dog in this fight (pun intended) but after watching this, then watching the 2nd period to solidify my thoughts, the officiating during this game was unbelievably terrible. Not to defend the parent/coach/player that you can clearly hear berating the ref for allowing this to go on, but holy hell the ref had ZERO control over this game. He was just out there getting his laps in.
I just watched it. That was hardly taking a run at someone. He was hardly skating. Obviously I know nothing of went on before this, the kid that got bumped was looking to be offended.

Same level. Have their own divisions and don't cross over. Co -ops are done after their playoffs, apparently no co-ops in East to play for state championship, or nobody cares co-ops in the East either.
-
Not over here in West. They have some weird competitive formula. Unless you are a co-op, you can move up divisions. I know, it makes no sense.

Burrell didn't even win the league that year. You didn't ask a question, you made a statement, that the top teams couldn't compete. I'm sure that some of them have played in tournaments, that would tell you if they can or not.

What does that mean? Check their goals per game average!!!
Sorry, I'll tell you what you want to hear. Possibly the Greatest collection of offensive talent in recent years. Goalie helps out some.

I think that’s a 2 team race between Ringold and Carrick.
i neglected to mention Canevin. Strong team. Scoring depth and goaltending are solid.
Goaltending, that's about all.

Pretty sure Serra Catholic is now in a co-op with Elizabeth Forward.
Ok. Elizabeth Forward not listed. Kinda my point.

My bad. That still might be the only co-op listed.

Can't speak for @Rancho1 but we were there too and it was about 50/50. I can tell you my son was one of the ones that had the mask on down to his chin along with many of his teammates. He now has the one that attaches to his cage and it seems to work out better
Nope. They All wore them. Unless you show hotel, restaurant, and gas receipts you weren't there.

That’s great and thanks for confirming that but it has nothing to do with the CCM Detroit event in October that @Rancho1 pretends he was at.
Let's meet in person and discuss the topic.

CONFESS! LIES! You are a douche. Go suck off the pediatrician in drag.

I guess Co-Ops don't count as real teams? I don't see any in there. I think Canavin won a few state championships.

Really? Cause I was there and watched five games my son played in along with two other games. And every single game prior to my sons, all players were wearing masks on their faces or neck gators pulled up above the nose. Maybe the games I saw were completely different from yours, or were you not even there and commenting on what you heard?
They must have been COMPLETELY different, or you are just lying to support your narrative.

Detroit recently hosted AAA and AA teams at various rinks for the CCM event where all players had to wear masks on the ice. To my knowledge, nobody from that or other events has died from it nor suffered from “bacterial infections” because of a wet mask.
My son said this new policy “sucks” but if it means playing vs not playing he will comply so he can play.
It could be worse - there are states where teams are completely shut down games for playing games in their home areas and are not permitted to travel at all.
Like I said, they wore them like extra chin straps. So, in reality, they didn't wear masks on their face.

As one referee said to me prior to our game earlier this season in Michigan (with the mask mandate): "Listen, I'm here to ref the game. I'm not the mask police."
In Michigan this year....kids wore them as extra chin straps, just to have them "on"

D2 doesn't count to the PG. The kid from Burrell a few years ago never made it. It is what is, no sense in crying.
