It’s 10 minutes from home and I’ve got the time tonight. I just don’t want someone that drove 30+ min to be left out.
you can just say you are there for a peaceful protest. No restrictions on that

A couple of winters ago my sons school was half empty for a week or two because of the flu. no public outcry then.. I just don't get it

Safesport violations are meant to be reported anonymously and can be done online. Team safesport coordinator is supposed to oversee the behavior of the entire team and keep things in line. If there are friends and politics involved with coaches including coordinator, airing the situation with said coordinator will result in being ostracized. Go online and file complaint. Safesport is supposed to address the issue.

Camp is being held at Printscape (Southpointe)

Youngstown Phantoms are requiring all participants at their main camp next week to be tested for COVID-19. Short notice email sent this past Monday camp starts next Tuesday. How are these kids going to get tested with no symptoms and all the testing protocols in place? No refund policy in place for sure. What if someone is positive? Will they be refunded?

it can be called the "Moorehouse Cup"

Fair enough but I don’t understand how any of that shows doing it for “the love of the game” as you put it? You also claim that we should be happy they made districts. But the claim is made that it’s against the rules. Is it reasonable to assume you’re asking people to be happy about a team circumventing the rules based on the coach calling in favors? Isn’t that type of behavior exactly what the Predators organization exhibits? Why did you leave the Lebo organization?
Can't you tell when a coach has a passion for what he's doing? More so than just going through the motions? I can tell the difference between the two. I believe he would be involved even if his kids didn't play. Hockey can have a great effect on a person that makes them want to stay involved and compete as a player or coach for a very long time. Being so, wouldn't you want to compete at the highest level possible? We left the Hornets to play at a higher level. At that time AA was just around the corner for them. The saying at the time was "if you want to play top level hockey, you have to go somewhere else". It was a great place to start for a lot people.

No investment. My son started out at the Mt. Lebo program many years ago and moved on just like most other kids. One season with said coach was nothing but positive. ( we did get "invite" to Silver Sticks finals after losing district championship game) I know he had pull there. Maybe I am unaware of recent happenings. I've never heard anything negative that's why I wanted to show support. As for the Preds? I've dealt first hand with the B.S. that happens on the older age teams and got out when the opportunity presented itself.

Coach was an original player on first ever Pittsburgh Hornets AAA travel team years ago that was part of the Mt. Lebanon Hornets program. Pittsburgh Hornets evolved to become the top program in Pittsburgh. Maybe the nepotism and exclusion on behalf of PPE program had something to do with this. They made midam tournament so why bash? Shout out to someone who is in it for other reasons than the mighty $. The love of hockey might be the reason

16's should be very interesting. PPE hasn't played any of these teams this season with the creation of their elite league. too good for the commoners of the tri-state area I guess
-
Triple A, triple A, triple A. Nothing under Bantam should even be classified as such. Families of kids that are 9 should not be lured by these programs. Nothing wrong with dad coaches that volunteer to teach them how to play and have fun. I guess those days are over.

lol - its a feeder system! PPE plays a sizzle video during their information meetings that splices in highlights of Pens cup wins with kids scoring goals.
What was nice about the Pittsburgh Hornets was the disconnect from the NHL club. True tier 1 AAA. Pens and Friends messed up the whole environment. Would have been nice to have had Hornets intact and have the Pens develop their prep school dream team

It's very upsetting that the owner-coach KING OF THE CASTLE would allow a player to remain on the team after known illegal activity. Fear of not making MidAms is not an acceptable excuse... Good wishes for the future, to players who went against the tyranny.

Didn't Moorehouse want CC to be home to Excel originally? I heard a certain player didn't want to have his hair cut per school policy

Son of a steamfitter!!! lol

I should have said kept together instead of put together, my bad. Son wouldn't be playing AAA otherwise

This team was put together for Dad Coach and his son. If done the right way it may have been different.

Madden likes to use the "you people" saying. Isn't that what got Don Cherry fired? " YOU PEOPLE"

What's left isn't good. Making MidAms is going to be difficult

16U and another one gone another one gone another one bites the dust! I was told the team voted not to let one of the suspended players return, King Ralph, in all his glory and worry of falling out of the district tournament didn’t care what the players thought and brought the kid back. Now one of the goalies left due to this player returning. Kudos to that goalie parent I wouldn’t want my kid around that stuff!!!
party on!!!
