Here is the million $$$$ question. Quite literally.
Are the customers, the Associations and ultimately the families being charged more or less and are the officials being paid more or less than in the past.

Good for them. Let's see where the teams they "dominated statistically" land when the first rankings come out.
Here's your home and home across the river series since your data mining skills seem about as good as your PA geography skills. 6 games - 4 over Labor Day weekend

From getting a players name out there,
It is VERRRY important to get those 10U "B" players names out there.

Huh? They tell you who you are playing and when and where

This is an absurd attempt at comparison. CS has like 20-25 teams at each group......... Max. Just look at some of the garbage in the AHF AA divisions

Sure.... and then they'll take your spring money and enter the team in their events and then get you one more time on the hotels

Show some evidence..... you know facts........ data that proves a point. Do you have any?
Do you realize that there are currently 7, count them 7 local kids on Penn State's D1 roster?
Provide some data from say Seattle, Vegas? Even Raleigh or Columbus which have been around longer.

This what you get with your AHF entry. You get to spend the Holiday weekend in beeeee-eautiful South Jersey. Not at the beach but at one of the BB rinks with lovely starting times of 7:45am and 7;00am for 14U.
And in addition you get a home and home series with a team just across the river.

SMH
Take a spin around the standings of these.... "these leagues" during the season and note the "competitive balance" provided.
Those who noted the Esmark deterioration in the other were spot on.

Are you saying that Rostraver is not going to have Ice this year?
No, sorry. Not what I meant. Just that they chose not to bring it up in August.
-
Hopefully this is close as here is a list of rinks that have not yet been "brought up"
The already discussed 2nd sheet at PIA which apparently has concerning issues
The 3rd sheet at Palmer - not typically frozen until September, but if it's not fully booked, then what do they do?
The Ice Mine - no ice now and who knows what the future of that place ever is
Rostraver - guess it's not in BB's financial interest to have ice there.
-
Thursday or Friday would be likely. There is a placement meeting Wednesday.

Uggghhh, that means no other schools can even talk to him I think. So many of these early commits end up not coming to fruition. I hope that's not the case in this one.
-
Let's set an over/under date of 9/22 before any hockey takes place on there with the over at -165 and under at +150.

dissolution of the Icemen 07 AA team
What does this mean? They have a roster listed on the website. Has it fallen apart since then?

Just think how many people say that in an average year when it comes to organizations and the grass being greener. 50% or more are disappointed.
-
Regardless of what they do, they are definitely looking at a difficult season at PIHL. Losing John Mucha was a huge hit to their structure as he was involved in every aspect. The new commissioner is just that, new. And incredibly inexperienced in the sport which may or may not be a good thing. In addition, other long-time members are also stepping down this year which will make things even more difficult. Hopefully everyone can get up to speed quickly and things will run smoothly but it's definitely cause for concern.

Holy FFFFFFF!!!
They scrubbed their entire website. I hate to be a conspiracy theorist (not true, I live for it) but doesn't that seem to send up a bunch of red flags?
For all the organizations which have been left with their $%^& in their hand, wouldn't they be able to file a suit against them for breach of contract? Because they made sure that it was cost-prohibitive for the organizations to get out of the contract.
Could that be why they scrubbed it?

So did they!!!

I think they were, but of course with the usual condescending and self-righteous email from them about how they have made these payments a week or two earlier than their "independent contractor agreement" requires. I mean....... come on. You hold all this money for up to 5 months and then tell your employees how lucky they are to be paid what they are owed? It just reiterates and validates what most people think of the PIHO hierarchy which is that they are a bunch of narcissistic primadonas.
Good-bye and good riddance.

They no longer even have their own website but instead a small header on the PIA website along with Birthday parties, public skate and contact us options. What a shame.

Eventually, I believe BB will regret the decisions they made at PIA. That begins with the purchase and ends with the management team they have in place at Huskies plus everything in between. It would be interesting to see a balance sheet considering how much $$$ they had to sink into repairs last summer and how much open ice they will more than likely be sitting on this season.

Danner,
Why do you only acknowledge 2 of your 4 players? Please enlighten us.

They cut Johnny Gaudreau years ago and they make light of it as if he wasn't actually good enough and "slipped through the cracks".
RJ, you seem to be the new expert on the block but your naivete is obvious.
I don't feel as though my player was slighted. he made the 68 camp as someone in the top 25% or so but was never going to be selected to go further and that's okay.
He got to evaluate himself against those players and knew exactly where he stood. He knew Mitch Miller was a freaking stud but he also knew he was a scumbag for what he did to that kid. Yes, they knew, everyone knew wayyy back then but MidAm didn't care. Send him through.
Lots of lessons to be learned if you pay attention.

If you believe that this will get better in time....... here's one that will change that opinion.
I can confirm that 8U parents(nutjobs) are declining 8U placements. 8U....... declining placements
That's............................. 8U ............................... declining................................. their placement

It's purely a numbers game for most rinks/programs. These rinks could pull it off but not many more could, if any.
Obviously, RMU and Baierl as they are both doing it already.
Palmer, Printscape/Ice Castle/Lebo - 2 of those 3, UPMC (never would allow the non-elites on the ice),

Is this Wednesday the start of the rankings? What will be interesting is to see what the Esmark SOS is during their 9-1 start.
