Being that COVID-19 is such a deadly and vicious disease I was wondering if anyone could share their survival stories? What your quarantine has been like, how you've dealt with your symptoms, and the million dollar question, what now?
What follows after you've successfully completed your quarantine and are asymptomatic?

It’s not like the obesity or opioid or suicide epidemics vanished.
Sloth? And then think about whether those kids are strong and healthy enough to fight off...oh I don't know, lets even say the flu?

@fafa fohi I read this today. A lot of people probably do not realize Ivy League schools do not give out athletic scholarships.
Academic scholarships those schools could offer would probably leave most envious though, no?
Isn't it common knowledge that players from families of influence get advantages over others. Happens in every walk of life. Not much you can do about that. Drawback of capitalism?

Pro tip...
When you chirp someone use references that everyone will understand, but actually shop at your local hardware. Oh and buy in bulk
You shouldn't have said that about my wife Ms Ingalls, she's a lot braver than you.

Personally, the fight over whether to wear a mask or not is not a hill I am willing to die on. I’ll wear my mask.
You sound like a reasonable individual. I wore my mask to home depot somewhere around page 4 of this thread... realized didn't have enough rope

Maybe get off social media? What's so social about it these days anyway?

Yeah I had to retire because I Got hurt. I was about to get called up to the prairie.
Hey Laura, it's your story babe. Tell it how you want sweetheart

Talk to anyone and everyone you know in LOCAL healthcare people. Don't believe your politicians or the folks in their pocket books

Oh I know his type, the wife constantly making eye contact with a guy like me. Look of despair, mixed with “I’ll let you if you ask”...
Buddy you'd PreJ if you saw her in PJs
I wasn't going to do this, but you deserve it for the above comment
If this pigeon gets back on it's squawk box change his handle to Laura Ingalls. Billet with Charles and Mary while on IR in the Prairie...(actually a healthy scratch)

What I am assuming that we can both agree on is that you are chump. Would it be possible to let me know which local organization you are involved in so I can make sure I stay far far away?
What organizations are you involved with? Would it be possible to let me know so I can tell folks I know to stay far far away?

No I’m just trying to help the people around you and the people you’re engaging with. What you may not Have realized is that you have brought a lot more attention to the COVID issues at the high school and amateur organization than they would like.
If anyone has done the things you suggest it's you and your alts. It's been going on since March

Keep in mind the organization that this thread was started about. That could give you some indication of where this idiot is from.
North Hills High School? And you think tier II hockey is irrelevant...

I actually can’t believe I’m doing this but @Paul Baxter please do this kid a favor and lock this thread. There’s literally nothing left to discuss here and he’s just embarrassing himself and the folks he’s associated with. It’s starting to become apparent where he’s from and who he is based on his posts. That’s not cool. We don’t even know if this kid is over 18. Now I’m not opposed to letting idiots be idiots but if it’s going to tag innocent people it’s not cool at all.
Daddy quick lock the thread! We got a taste of our own medicine and didn't like it.

Says the guy who just bragged about playing in the jungle, which started this whole debacle.
I don't think I bragged at all. Plus I wasn't referencing a league per se, more of the journey and how it can be wild like the jungle.
Which you and your boys can't understand, because you don't share the same experiences. You can only speak to your own

I told you multiple times I couldn't stand seeing you/danner post about every positive COVID-19 test. That you were hypocrites, and when you and your alts start the circle jerk together it's nauseating.
I hate when people say one thing "we all want hockey back" but their actions prove otherwise

Would it be possible to let me know which local organization you are involved in so I can make sure I stay far far away? Hell, can you even just narrow it down to the general area relative to Pittsburgh? (North, south, east, west)
I told you illiterate derelicts multiple times I'm not involved with any amateur organizations. If I were though, I don't think it'd be the one to avoid.
That's the thing about real hockey guys. They don't need to go around bragging about who they know or where they played.
I think this point it might even be a bunch of PPE kids who were sold an unattainable dream, that their parents happy wrote checks for, but when the going got tough, they got going

Oh my kid is absolute hot garbage. He's gonna need all the help he can get to make it past the jungle.
Ah, gotcha. I read on here a guy saying phrases like the one you used should be red flags for BS anyway. And you all seem to respect what he says.

My kid is still young, so I have plenty of time to grease the palms of coaches until hes a NHL player. Thank you for the advice.
Why would you have to grease anyone's palms, can't you just call all your buddies?

And unlike you, I actually have three separate former business associates/acquaintances that work in team management offices in the ECHL as well as the AHL. A quick phone call or two would straighten this out.
Probably should've used those lifelines as your kid(s) aged out of midgets.
With those connections I'm surprised he didn't an NCAA offer right out of PPE. But I guess you're so well off he didn't have to go to college.

You are so arrogant and ignorant it's sort of impressive actually. But really sad.
You assume to know so much about everything and you're so wrong. Honestly it's parents like you that have sport in it's current predicament.

Great question!
For players reluctant or until more firm answers arise could an "opt out" similar to the likes of what has occurred in the NHL over the past couple days be mirrored in youth sports?
