It only applies to PA teams going out, not teams coming into PA

I don't know if that is 100 percent true, some local tier1 teams have games out of state next week and plan on playing them. doubt any repercussions will come of it. Once the cats out of the bag of which team(s) do next weekend im sure more will follow after that.

The Nation's Cup annually pits US teams against Canadian teams. Considering the current border restrictions, if a company still had this scheduled I would say that someone should be relieved of their duties.

The company that use to run the Nations Cup ( Legacy Global Sports) filed for bankruptcy earlier this year and they folded. Their top guy there now is pretty high up with 200x85, whom runs all the CCM Invites.

Also, maybe someone has the know. BUT im hearing rumbles at for Tier1 Districts that they are taken top 8 this season? As oppose to the top 6 like every other year?

    Is this true?

People complain about teams labeling themselves as AAA and selling that when both the talent on the team and their schedule are no where near AAA. So long as organizations do that, they will be made fun of. The practice hurts youth hockey as it dilutes the local talent pool. 'But PAHL is terrible....but we want to travel....PAHL doesn't offer what we want' blah blah blah. All arguments that have been addressed here ad naseum. The bottom line is that PAHL doesn't offer the vaunted extra A. Which still gets you nothing, because legit AAA programs aren't going to play the faux teams. Just call yourself independent, but no...I want to brag my kid is AAA....spend all my weekends traveling to play other similarly delusional programs....and the programs would be made of for that, but at least not for adding an extra A to their name and pretending to be something that they are not.

    SPOT ON!!!! TRUTH HURTS!!!

Correct. The initial rankings just came out and the 15U team is already eliminated from contention to qualify for Districts. There's always next year.

look at their strength of schedule and who they have played.  Not even a top 150 AA and they are claiming AAA? the posse up there are laughing all the way to the bank!!!

Anybody play games this past weekend?  How did your team play them?  Local only!  Don’t want to hear about Cleveland, etc.  You don’t have to name your team.  Just trying to gauge what teams are doing locally.  Playing full games, full benches, full contact, and what rink?

2005 Preds AAa vs 2005 Hornets aaa was at Ice castle this weekend ( sat night and Sunday morning ).  Full bench, tons of parents

Anybody hear of any games this weekend?  I know there were some out of town tournaments.  Too early for My Hockey Rankings.  I thought I heard that Preds played the Vengenance. Maybe 06 AAA .  Sure would be nice if Alpha got Live Barn.

05 Hornets aaa beat Preds 05 AAa 4-3 Saturday night.

The next morning Preds smoked Lebo something to the tune of 6-1!!!!

Why would the rink get backlash?  Their responsibility ends with renting the ice.  They don't tell you how you have to use the ice. Just seems to me that there is no mechanism to enforce the mandates as they stand now.

I'm sure that prick thats one here spewing his BS (we will call him Ken). Ken spewing about the virus. I be the tried to get things shutdown, seems to fit his agenda very well.

Puckcovid19, Do you know if the player that tested positive for Covid at South Fayette is back on the ice yet and did they have any additional cases?  did any of the other players have to isolate?

yes back on the ice now, no additional cases as school stepped in and shut program down for 2 weeks

They probably won’t, Esmark is in Cleveland next weekend at the midget levels to play the barons, there is also a tournament going on hosted by team Ohio that has the icemen along with the predators. Sounds like Pittsburgh teams going to Cleveland just to play each other. Curious - would anyone share the icemen or predators midget schedule ? I genuinely would like to know who and where they are going to get any decent games. Those two teams rely heavy chicago, Michigan & buffalo tournaments.  Erie Cathedral varsity is also in this the Cleveland tournament along with some teams that play on the Ohio version of Pahl, sounds like junk.

U15 Preds AAa lost to the Barons 4-2 and 6-2

U15 Hornets Aaa beat Team Ohio twice today.

Again, no bomb as stated by Peter. The same info I got yesterday. The only difference - I was told two kids while on vacation. So it turns out only one of the two plays for the varsity team, I assumed both played varsity.

your info on Lebo is incorrect. Yes the SF player is on the the 05 Lebo team. Nobody on that team has tested positive YET. Two kids didn’t feel well, both tested negative.

look I’ve been saying from the start everything is getting canceled but some of you, with your made up - axe to grind bs need to stop.

The goalie whom was vacationing in SC is the one that tested positive. As for the SF player he is a JV call up, therefore hence the reason why both the JV and Varsity both are canceled as they both practiced in the last week....

  11. This was the email we got:

The player that had this also plays for Lebo 2005 Aaa team. There are a few players on Lebo 2005 team that did test positive.
