So good to see Armstrong keeping with their M/O.

A total of 58 penalty minutes against USC tonight, and one kid had 34 penalty minutes.  How in the hell does this happen and why isn’t this kid suspended?  How does any coach allow a player to assess that many penalty minutes in one game?  Or maybe that is that way they are coached?

Same shit, different day for this team.

probably bc 6 points in 3 games.......   so what actually happened that he stacked that many PIMS up at the 808 mark of the period? Did he pull a shaker and go in the stands or what?

PPE is a good team probably a top 10 team. Once again though they will ride mostly Pittsburgh kids up to 8th grade then 90% will have to go to NC/Excell & pay a fortune or they will get bumped out by an out of state player that will. Again they do not hide it so it's not a surprise. As long as they continue to to get the out of Starters it's not going to change. It's a shame that little respect is given to parent/players/Orgs that the PPE is the only show in town. I have no issues with PPE because they are clear & do not hide there approach & they continue to be top 20. But I also respect & do nothing but support & respect the players that go to the Barons, SHAHA, preds, Vengance. I also respect the PAHL. All hockey players/parents are on a separate Journey. Everyone has there own opinions & those opinions should be respected & debated. The reality is PPE does what they so let's support the kids that have to drive or can't afford PPE/Excell not put them & any other organization that tried to make a birth year or a couple to help these players out. Even if they are not ranked super high at least they are trying. But let's also appreciate the AA/A players also for not being a serious. Allow the kids to enjoy there hockey career no matter what level or team they take. Just think one day they will be old, miserable & arguing about things that 99.9% of the people that will read this don't give a shit about.

I would like to respectfully bet Sticktime56 & anyone who wants action on these odds. Let me know who is game. We all have opinions but at the end of the day numbers don't lie. The 06 BY It will go as followed. Cleveland could end up top 3, PPE top 10, Shaha possibly top 20 then big drop Esmark possibly top 60 at best. Not a shot they are all good teams. Take it to the bank this will be the exact order at mid AMS. The good thing about numbers is they turn opinions into facts & provide insight on whos opinions hold the most weight.

    #1 Cleveland Barons

    #2 PPE

    #3 SHAHA

    #4 Gilmore

Then there will be substantial distance #5 Esmark

remark will be what it always is, how many Russians can they get to come over. if not many, then this team is in big trouble, its allot of left overs from vengeance and throw in some of the faux aaa preds kids.

I think this statement is true for the single A teams. But for the AA/AAA teams, arena location doesn’t seem to matter to some.

PIA is definitely not in the most convenient location geographically but it doesn’t really hinder ppl coming for the higher teams.

yes and no. like the press top line is better then the stars bottom line, there for making stars stronger and can hopefully bleed preds shaha dry of their faux aa teams

Really!   What would impress you? Just curious as to why you have such a hate on!

not hate its the truth, drafts and tenders dont really mean anything more then that team owns your rights in that league and its an automatic to their main camp.  otherwise still means nothing.

The South Hills 06 AAA Team has quietly gone about business for the last 5 years at least.  They are a very solid AAA team that seems to have full transparency.  Look at their website and you will see their schedule and full team stats. You can even go back years.  They seem to have a core of solid players then add a few and lose a few every year.  I think they may have originally come from Southpointe.  It would be interesting to see them play the Pens elite 16U team. I'm sure they would like more of a shot at them than just Mid Ams.  They had one player drafted by the NCDC I think.

drafted in NCDC means noting really.

Not really a fair statement towards Sluggo. Sluggo is the cream of the crop for hockey guys. Dude is loved everywhere he goes. Could stop at a rest stop in Guetemala and would run into someone there happy to see him.

Whatever the beef is there,  have you ever even been in the same room with the cock sucker who’s running Pens now?  You would be pining for a guy like Sluggo.

Sluggo…….. Sluggo running the program would be a gift from the hockey gods lol I’ll take sweet Ellen at the pens concession stand running the program at this point.

slug goo ran the hornets and did an amazing job, he was offered a hefty chunk oof change and time within ppe and poof hornets gone.

the guy at the hornets (Dave Klasick) he tried to rectify the Pittsburgh hornets under the lebo hornets until it took off, didn't go to well.

They just need to put the program back into the hands of the Hornets guys to be honest.  You know,  the ones responsible for 90% of those NHL origin story posters on the walls at the rink.

problem is the one that ran the hornets " sluggo" he's the one that got this ppe shit show on the road too where it is. he was given a 10 year buy out plan.  wonder why he isnt there anymore huh.. facts

I’ve seen this. I’ve seen 3 players to a queen size bed and one $5 hot and ready per 4 players all first hand.

If done right, it’s feasible. And hopefully they do it right. If not, it’s truly exhausting and demoralizing.

that's pretty sad if our pinching pennies that bad

This is going to be a big increase in travel. Hopefully the program ensures the increased budget for appropriate travel, lodging and meals to help mitigate the fatigue that comes a long with these long road trips. Good luck to them in their move.

lol they will probably have their players drive themselves to cut costs.

Does anybody know why the Pens Elite have not posted a roster for their 15U team yet?  All the rest are posted except for that team.  Just curious!

by looking at the u18 roster there are some shockers for sure making the team..... one of which is deff bc of who daddy is.

Top divisions at UPMC and Ice Castle, Delmont etc, have a lot of Pitt players as well.  I think the team that won it all last summer at UPMC was all Pitt

now we have resorted to discussing beer league teams. wow summer time sure is slow

I’m making a point - college is expensive as it is. Education should be the priority. The cost of the club team will definitely rise tremendously from this move. It’s a club sport, not an ncaa sport.

I texted a few folks, as I suspected there are parents behind this.  The list is long, a few esmark flunkies who’s tenders never worked out, usphl vengeance junior rejects along with an incoming freshman family who’s father was always tossing money at yuri. @Law is obviously one of these parents.

very true. but 1/maybe 10 remark tenders ever work out. and the freshman daddy heard he spear headed this

I looked at the 16U roster.  Yikes, the poster above was right….hardly any AAA or legit AA kids tryout…where are the legit AA and higher skaters from Vengeance and Esmark.  Understood this is beneath PPE.  But, looking at that roster, it looks more like some A Major kids who are friends of the coach.

Who actually evaluates and picks the team?

folks are starting to realize the bill of goods promised is a bunch of bs. Having to go all over the country to play 20-80 ranked teams, and playing in a sub par naphl just isnt worth the time anymore. look at iceman they didn't last in the aa league very long.
