Semi-finals are set. PCC against PR and NA against Mars. One AAA team against one AA team in each semi-final. Predictions? AA North/West division looks like it might be as strong as the AAA division this year.

They really should change their name to the Nomads. On the PAHL website, they have placement games scheduled at LSC, SSA and the MARC. Their "AA" U16 team is their 03 team from last year which is based in the Erie area. This is just another example of why USA Hockey and their affiliates are so over-protective when handing out roster software. You have one guy, one crazy guy running around with the ability to create rosters for teams with no oversight from anyone else and with no home ice.

Viper Stars never had a U15AA team, just the aforementioned and now defunct U16 Gold team. I mean AA team, sorry. I'm telling you, I'll be shocked if the U18 team lasts the whole PAHL season with low numbers and empty promises of AA they may not make Halloween. The demise of that organization is drastic over the last few years. You have Kingerski leaving after the kids aged out (always had strong teams) as Coaching Director. They forced Carole out as President and you've had two Kosick puppets follow her. Bernie passed on. Heather Veltri finally had enough of the ice scheduling. They stiffed Si Bishop and then brought in Posey just to rub salt in the wound. Scheuler made them a ton of $$ with a great Thanksgiving Tournament every year and got no thanks so he left. What does that leave you with?

Based on what people are saying, neither the Ice Miners nor Wheeling have any ice on which to practice yet.

It is my understanding that they are trying to convince some of those players to join the U18 team in order to save that team which has 15 players including goalies. The Vipers organization is a puppet regime for Kosick and Yuri to do whatever they want to. Leaving there was the best move we ever made.

Some of the blame, if not all of it, should be placed on the Vipers and their leadership for getting involved with him.
