This entire conversation began with you accusing a local team of hiding games. In no way was there a question posed, it was a statement insinuating that a team was upset that games that were counted cost them X-spots on a hockey ranking site. You then went on to suggest that other “losses, ties, and close games are ? ?” as well. So this is where the fact check comes about, none of this is correct. Your buddy Moj further clarified the truth as well, so, you have now waffled into stating “3” times that this is a pretty good team. I’m glad you’ve come around, class is over. Enjoy your weekend.

I don’t know what that means, but ok. Im not sure what you are getting upset about? You continue to bring up this is a “discussion” board, so keep it that way. Some people prefer the Kool-Aid pal, but everyone can do what they think is best for their kid. Your opinions are your own, but when you try to roll false comments, expect a fact check. V team has played easily a top 10 schedule, do you really think teams in Chicago or Detroit have only played 10 games all year?? Sure you don’t.....compare the V ‘08 team schedule with any other comparable in this area and it’s not even close. I’m sure Moj can fill you in since your personal pals. ??

Your facts aren’t accurate and your intent to stir the pot has obviously drawn some attention to a thread that hasn’t been active since July. Your posts back in Dec. enamoring Esmark over PPE suggests otherwise, but ok.....??

Pucks 11, you sound like a disgruntled parent with this post.....as it seems Jr. wasn’t able to crack the lineup for either of these teams (Jets or V)? Anyone who follows the vengeance this closely, when their kid plays for Esmark, obviously has a bit of a jealousy issue. ???

Thanks for the attempt at characterizating my parenting. If I upset you, then apparently I’ve said something that is true. All I’m saying is you aren’t new to hockey around this area. Go to a tryout and see for yourself, since you know how short life is, give your kid a shot.

Hockey dad, if your kid plays at the AAA level, you’ll have to take the good with the bad. Generally, if your kid is good enough, his/her play speaks for itself. If you’ve been around hockey, as I assume you have, this message board can’t be your first go round with this topic. Coming off as a newb, as the kids say, isn’t working.

Again, you suggest parents being hard/critical of their kids, refs, and staff. The stands I sit in, I don’t see this. Like I said, your experiences are different from everyone on this board, at least most. My response comes because I sit here reading advice from you and a few others who are suggesting you have all the answers, and the rest of us know nothing. Call it arrogant, condescending, or whatever you’d like. Again, it appears we can go at this for years, I’m just suggesting that you and the other geniuses on this board don’t have all the answers, and your experiences are not going to be the same as others, much like life, which it appears some may need to look to obtain one. ✌️

I don’t see anyone on this thread stating their kid is making any show, do you? If you don’t like the squirt talk and you’ve lived it, maybe it’s time to move on and let these folks gain their own experiences. No one is asking you to read or respond to any of this. Happy posting.....

Isn’t this post board created to discuss hockey? People seem pretty annoyed by the current discussion, but can’t hold back from responding to the “squirt” talk. Parents with older kids seem to forget their kids were once squirts, and this conversation took place then as well. This isn’t new......

These two teams play 10 times, PPE wins 7 or 8 of them. Vengence have a nice team, but lack a scoring threat, plain and simple.

PPE played half the game short handed, which could suggest the Vengence had an advantage in terms of skating. Issue is Vengence lacked a scoring punch with 6+ power play chances. Even if the goal that was called off counted, its a 3-2 game. What has to be frustrating for the Vengence is the penalties + shots were in the their favor. Bottom line is game leaned in Vengence favor and it still wasn’t enough. Oh and, the “goalie” that played half the game the Vengence claimed can’t win a game, ended up looking pretty stellar.
