  1. As we get ready for the 2023-24 season, I want to remind everyone that the 27th Pa Hockey Scholastic Showcase will be held on December 29-31 2023 at the Alpha Ice Complex in Pittsburgh, Pa. I will be mailing the Tournament Packages with Hotel Information, Rules, Scheduling Info, the Tournament Roster and Final Payment very soon to complete arrangements for the Event. The Varsity Tournament currently has 14 Schools (2 from Illinois, 3 from Ohio 1 from Ontario and 8 from Western Pennsylvania pre-registered) and will take 16 schools. The Junior Varsity Tournament currently is full and has 8 Schools (1 from Illinois, 2 from Ohio and 5 from Western Pennsylvania pre-registered) with a Waiting List. - If your school wants one of the remaining 3 spots, please contact Jeff Mauro at jeffmauro@aol.com or 412-848-3750 to reserve a spot. If a school is interested in participating in this event, it should mail or e-mail a fully executed ‘Letter of Interest’ and the Deposit of $ 750 to the Pa Hockey Foundation PO Box 10598 Pittsburgh Pa 15235 to secure your spot.

  4. It adds days and time for sure .........i tried in Jamestown to 20 and it was less than stellar results ..........I would agree the criteria for choosing schools needs looked at to make it better

NA gets knocked out by superb effort by FR 2-1 PR advances knocking off Armstrong Central advances beating Lebo 4-3 Shaler has good showing shutting out Baldwin 5-0 Butler BP and Latrobe end up in 3- way tie and Butler advances on tiebreaker Seneca finishes 3-0 and advances and TJ edges USC in pretty good game Semi's will be PR vs CC and Butler vs Seneca
  6. Baldwin wins in shootout over CC Butler surprises Canon Mac in SO USC fends off Mars Pine Richland scores four over last 6 minutes to defeat Franklin Bethel edges Latrobe NA shuts out Armstrong Seneca Valley out scores TJ Shaler shocks Lebo

TJ looked strong against improved Mars NA survived shootout vs PR who outshot them 43-20 CC beat up on Shaler Latrobe way better than Canon Mac Mt Lebanon looked strong against Baldwin Seneca edged USC in one of better games of the night Butler upset Bethel Franklin with three unanswered in 3rd edges Armstrong

I will be mailing the Tournament Packages with Hotel Information, Rules, Scheduling Info, the Tournament Roster and Final Payment very soon to complete arrangements for the Event. The Varsity Tournament currently is full with 16 Schools (1 from Colorado, 3 from Illinois, 1 from Indiana, 1 from Maryland, 4 from Ohio 1 from Ontario, 1 from Eastern Pa and 4 from Western Pennsylvania pre-registered) .   10. New President who is in support and the other Administrators are gone. NEW Kids are starting the movement and gaining momentum and support with school.

  12. So what ? He played High School Hockey for LaSalle and won a Pa State Championship and now a National NCAA Championship .......Great Stuff
  13. That was Pennsylvania State Champion 2019 LaSalle's Sam Lipkin with the winning National Championship Assist who played HS Hockey in PA
