Obviously you were there and have a whole different take on the situation and I don't think you will be satisfied until Armstrong is banned from ever playing hockey again. Sounds like you would be happy for the whole school to go be banned from sports!

Sutton, you should be commended for bringing this to our attention. It is gaining momentum and it will be interesting to see where it ends up!

Coverage on the Fan 93.7 right now. Kind of saying everything that has been said on here. Definitely not going away or swept under the rug by anyone at this point for sure. Not long before this makes National News.

I'm not sure why you think the outrage should be focused toward the Armstrong Hockey team? Why should a player or coach be punished? Do you think it was their job to police the crowd?

Saucey, you are giving some great shoutouts to some really great people. I couldn't agree more. I also want to recognize all the people on that Armstrong thread who wouldn't let it go away. Hopefully they helped to keep the situation in the spotlight till it was addressed. I think every Hockey Association will be paying a little more attention to their Student sections in the future. But I sure don't want to discourage the students and fans from coming out and cheering their teams.

Couldn't have said it any better. Clearly this "Goalie" has no class! No way, No how can you say this is OK on any level. Goalie go back and read the moms posts. I guarantee you this young lady is handling this better than we are and probably just wants it to go away.

The stripes are the most important people and there is no way that they get paid enough for what they do and have to endure so that our kids can play the game. I do disagree with them at times but I always respect what they do.

I think you are going to see some great support for that 16 year old girl in the hockey community. She has been playing goalie for mixed teams since she was 9 years old and a lot of kids have played with her and respect her. Hopefully we will all learn a lesson from this and stop things like this from happening before they get to this level in the future. We are all responsible!

I understand what you are saying now! Guess I'm a little slow! Thought you were talking about the fact that they won't face some type of repercussions. It is a travesty that it wasn't addressed on the spot. But something needs done to let everyone know this shouldn't be tolerated anywhere. I also can't believe it didn't make the local news!

"hockey players are being targeted and getting threats" Seriously? Other than Sutton no one on this thread said anything negative about the Hockey Team. Seems like you have an issue with the Football Team. Not sure where I see that Armstrong Hockey is being targeted here. It seems that we are all saying that security and the school should address this issue. From what you said it sounds like the High School Principal is aware of it and addressed the situation. Not to your satisfaction! I guess we will see if there is any other fallout from this. To early to tell!

Is the PIHL Board meeting on November 10th open to the public? I see it is an in person meeting. The goalie from Mars should go to that meeting and ask them if they are going to address the situation.

Nope, Hard to figure a number 5. My second choice for number 5 would have been Neshanock but they are 1-3. Who would you put in at 5? I think maybe Ringgold and Neshannock will finish higher. That's why they play the games right? In March no one will care about these rankings anyways.

The only team I see that moved out of AA is Baldwin. Am I missing something? I thought the PIHL was set up so that teams who dominate their division move up and those who struggle move down to maintain competitive balance. The Divisions also seem to go along enrollment lines as well although that also leads to more athletes to chose from.

I'd sure like to hear from an Armstrong fan or Parent that thought that was OK. We need to send that clip to the Superintendent of Armstrong School District.

The evidence is clear and undisputable. I would not let another team go into that rink as a visitor until this issue is dealt with by the PIHL and Armstrong. No place for that in High School Hockey. Maybe the Schools that Armstrong plays should refuse to go there until something is done.

When do the Tier 2 cuts happen? Any idea how much profit a Tier 3 team has at the end of the year? Just did some research into all this and it is very interesting. Amazing how many Tier 3 teams there are. A lot of kids still playing after High School. It looks like there is not a route straight to NCAA D-1 from High School. Much different from other High School sports. Why? From what I see it costs around 10,000 a year. Is that right?
