Can you name any of the foreign players at Canevin? I don’t remember one.

Chartiers Valley finally gets moved up, and they have lost so many players. It is going to be a long season for them.

Who were the teams?

Disgusting. I know squirts is very close to that amount as well. For what? Rules? Because outside of the national teams they aren’t doing anything.

I hope they have success in breaking up this horrible organization.

The lack of a call for the attempted kick is appalling. Absolutely dangerous play that went unpunished. Rust coming away with the only real penalty there is bad. The Pens however are playing horrible.

Do they have a 2010 team?

I didn’t say it was nefarious. I did say that maybe it should be. The use of non-profit status is way over used in my opinion. Anytime you are in control of a non-profit that pays money to a for profit organization that you also run, there is room for malfeasance. It so goes our current tax laws.

I don’t know how smart he is but his business model is certainly pretty genius. Pay his kids through a non-profit. Nothing illegal. But maybe it should be?

Non profits can make money, look at UPMC.

How much would the average PAHL team save per season if we didn’t pay those salaries. How much would each kid save? It blows my mind that they are paid position, especially full time. But I also know I don’t have another choice, only option for my family is PAHL.

Good points. I was going on my perceptions of seasons past. Your data for this year makes your point. I have know of teams in the past that dominated more than a season.

I think that with the girls there is a good reason to play on independent teams because the PAHL girls sections usually consist of one or two good teams, and the rest struggle to field strong teams. There aren’t as many girls playing as there are boys. Makes it difficult to have many strong teams in one division.

They haven’t even played their season yet.
