Happy Hockey Fan

Was at a Black Bear rink today for two games. They had two empty sheets of ice that were not being used before or during games I attended on third sheet. Only one sheet was used after one of the games I attended. Lots of empty ice during a huge tournament weekend. What’s up with that?

I saw a couple of AA teams play Wednesday, there definitely seems to be a drop off over the last few years in that class.

For all those people that complain about any rink, if there is playable ice, keep quiet. There was a time when there were very few rinks around, and all the kids that play now wouldn’t have had the chance to play without all the rinks we have now. Ice is ice. It gives kids a chance to play. If a rink is too dirty or not nice enough for you, go play golf.

You definitely seem to think that NAHL tenders have no value. But if you take the current incomplete number, and complete the number with more information, it seems that the missing data would have to be a whole lot worse than the 60% incomplete number to decrease the total to even below 50%. And 50% success rate seems to be a pretty decent number for kids making a team with a tender. But maybe you can compile the rest of the data and complete the graph to prove my theory wrong.
