Hearing AD’s at WPIAL Schools covering up so there football this fall. CV had 10 football players testing positive you heard nothing. If your school is going back PA guidelines so many kids test positive that school has to close and back to virtual learning. I heard the magic number is 5 or more from a local Principal.

Also AAA looking bleak rumors out there only 25 players with Officials for each game allowed no schedules yet and everything being pushed back. Michigan and New York nobody skating or playing football.

It gets even worse Big 10 Presidents will meet to discuss moving Football to the spring. Now you have Mac that just cancelled won’t have College Football let the Domino’s start to fall. NO PSAC D 2 Football, NO D 3 Football what is the PIAA suppose to do we will have Fall Sports.

August 24th will be the day when PIAA votes to decides Wolf recommendation to move sports to first of the year. With Wolf recommendation I can’t see how the School Boards allowing Fall sports there is to much liability and High School Hockey will fall under this even though it’s PIHL.

Ask The State of MI what they are doing. Don’t see hockey happening until next Spring hope I’m wrong. Wolf will step in and cancel all Fall Sports RInks, PIHL, PAHL and PIAA. Lombardi didn’t have the guts to shut down fall PIAA sports making Wolf the bad guy it’s coming.

AAA Hockey is a scam. If PIAA would have some balls and bring Hockey In PIAA Let the High School share the costs then there wouldn’t be Club Hockey AAA holding all the Cards. Look how MN and WI do it High School is NO #1 and you have to stay in your Zip Codes until death. High Schools buy the rinks and pays for Hockey. NCAA recruits those High Schools Hard. Look how many make it to NHL. Very few PPE kids get drafted to USHL and parents paid all that money. If they do Excel, North Catholic and PPE you are looking at $32,000 to $34,000 a year with Travel. When was last time PPE put someone into NHL? Not the PGH Hornets. It is all because PPE brought these clowns in from the Midwest all they did was raise the costs according to Chicago Price. I give the U16 Coach Credit he good the others are terrible Coaches.

People in MI and OHIO. Also I know of teams who signed up for March Pittsburgh Tournaments can’t get their money back when everything shut down and The Bank told them they are in Bankruptcy.

Heard they filed for Bankruptcy no Tournaments also hearing no Hockey in Michigan next fall and Winter. That crazy Governor canceling everything.

Playing PAHL without travel tournaments outside of Pittsburgh would be the ticket. Pittsburgh not being hit that hard. Rinks would have to agree only local teams for local tournaments. No out of state teams and Central & Eastern PA teams.

Fall Sports don’t see it happening to much Liabilities. Would you travel to Eastern PA with 20,000 cases of Corona ? Lets travel to Detroit, NJ, NYC, DC and Boston. HELLL NOOO! 2020 will be a lost year and part of 2021 if parents want to travel you are NUTS PAHL and PIHL your best bet stay local Pittsburgh numbers are low if they allow it.

USA Hockey Strongly Recommends that there is no Tryouts Spring or Summer. i don’t see Try - Outs until August September. With the 2nd and 3rd waves coming do you think there will be Hockey next year? If a Rink gets this Virus in their place and kids and Teams come down with it. For God sake if a kid dies with that a Lawsuit having the rink open doing this pandemic I don’t see Hockey next year.
