This smoke screen you speak of, the ultimate goal for a local/any kid playing hockey is to make it to the NHL am I right? The Pens Elite and all of their glory have exactly 000000 kids drafted into the NHL while you talk down on Esmark who has had at least 1 kid drafted in the last 3yrs and I think a total of 2 over the time that the Pens Elite have been an organization. All the Pens Elite do is ride the coattails of the accomplishments of the Pittsburgh Hornets organization. They have all of those posters in their hallways of Pittsburgh kids yet NONE of them have actually played for the organization. In what will be what year 9 for Pens their best chance of a kid getting a sniff at being drafted out of their organization is a 2005. Which means it will be at least 2 more years MAYBE.

If PPE is the only REAL AAA team then how would playing more games locally be great hockey. Most of those teams go to Ohio, Michigan and NY (Buffalo) which are all under 5hrs. PPE has not gotten 1 kid to the NHL where that chain smoking guy you speak of has had 2 kid drafted in the last 10yrs. Just trying to get the conversation started that you could easily look up in 10+ previous posts. If you play for PPE you will kiss their ass and no one else matters and everyone else sucks. If you play for Esmark you will kiss their ass and no one else matters and everyone else sucks. If you play for Vengeance you kiss their ass and no one else matters and everyone sucks. If you play for Preds kiss their ass and no one else matters and everyone sucks. If you play Icemen you kiss their ass and no one else matters and everyone sucks. It doesn't matter because in the long run if the kid is good locally then they leave before any of these organizations can fully develop them.

Go check the NHL rosters/minors/drafts there are exactly 0000 kids from PPE but there are 3 from Esmark.

I am with you with the drinking part, I have seen it from Mites and all the way up. Some parents just can't wait and then they drive their kids home after, it's ridiculous.

This is an 8 second video of why 3 Arrows players should have been thrown out. A shot to the head into the boards on a defenseless player and then 2 brutal crosschecks to the backs of the Preds players. If I were a Preds parent I would be pissed also that none of the Arrows players got thrown out. The videos you have shared make the Predators look like the victims.

This was a good hit, so what's the problem besides that other video you showed with a cheapshot by the Arrows player? Looks like a sore loser by the Arrows more than anything because they got dumped over the boards with a good hit.

What are top teams though? 2%, 5% maybe 10% of the over 1,300 listed. No one is doubting that the Vengeance are the best local team but you can only play the games offered to you and the PPE have done that and proven themselves the best they could just like the Vengeance. They are 6 spots away from each other but you don't consider them AAA.

What makes a AAA team, a AAA team if you think the 16th ranked team is AA??? This is a very simple question that you beat around the bush with. Lifelongbender answered with the top 25 out of 1,319 teams is pretty good which is the top 2.0%.

So what is a "top team" in your eyes? There are 1,319 teams in the 2008 rankings and according to you the 16th ranked team is a AA team. That 16th ranked teams rating is only 00.24 points behind this untouchable Vengeance team. The 5th ranked team is 00.81 higher than the Vengeance.

The rankings go by what's reported if they want to be a top 5 team then stop talking about it and be about it. So according to your standards if you play even just 1 AA team then you are not playing a AAA schedule. Therefore the Vengeance played Birmingham which is the 63rd ranked team and also a AA team eliminates the Vengeance from being a top team and shouldn't be considered a AAA team. The Pens have played all AAA teams so according to YOUR standards they should be considered the ONLY AAA around here then. Actually followed that pretty well and NONE of the teams listed 1 game, they all listed at least 2 games. But nice try, you can't even list facts when you read them yourself. 2 teams below the top 25??? Valley Forge is 27th (3 games), Washington capitals are 31st(1 game), Victory Honda 51st (1 game) and Birmingham 63rd (1 game). That makes 6 games vs teams outside of the top 25. Seriously buddy it take 2 min to find these things out. The PPE have played a AA schedule yet they have more wins/ games played vs the top 50 than the Vengeance ???. So now you are changing your statement that the Vengeance have played a top 5 schedule to a top 10 schedule when 10 of their 15 games listed are vs teams 12th-63rd. ??? No beef I have said before that they are a great team but don't TALK about being a top 5 team unless you are going to prove it. What makes them a top 5 team if the record they show has them 0-4-1 against top 10 teams, 5-5-3 vs teams in the top 50??? The Pens are 14-4-5 vs top 50 teams so by your standards if the Vengeance are top 5 with 5-5-3 record vs top 50 then the Pens are easily top 3, right??? Mt Lebanon is 1-1-1 vs teams in the top 50 so they SHOULD be where in your eyes?? Esmark is 2-7 vs teams in the top 50 as a first year mutt team, where should they be?? Michigan and Illinois have 2 teams each ranked higher than the Vengeance and played just as many or more games. They don't seem to scared to list their games. ?
