Developing super young defensemen

How many AAA coaches did he need at 7 years old? Asking for a friend. -
Developing super young defensemen

I was about to say "Yeah, just like a 9 year old is ready to join the military, if he isn't mentally tough enough now, when will he ever be?" -
I'm not going to claim to be a scientist, and i think there are situations where I can imagine (without any proof whatsover) that I agree with you, but I also run several miles most days of the week on a treadmill with a mask on and it honestly doesn't both me at all.

Midam/USA hockey decision on hockey
aaaahockey replied to Wes's topic in Western Pennsylvania Youth Hockey
Barring someone getting sued (which I think is a stretch because there is a pretty hard burden to prove someone got a disease at a specific place and time) or a rink actually getting shut down by the health department (less likely the longer time goes on in my opinion) those not following the rules will be winners. Are there actual programs who aren't playing games? (I mean I would assume every team is scheduling some sort of scrimmage games even if they are traveling out of state or am I wrong?) -

"AAA" (Tier 1) literally does not start until they are older. No matter how you want to frame it or what you want to call yourself. -

If your kid is playing AAA (I assume by the way it was worded), talk to the coach. That's why you are paying all that damn money. If a professional coach can't help you figure it out id suggest going back to PAHL. -
Vengeance/SCIR - where do you draw the line?
aaaahockey replied to Jack Handey's topic in Western Pennsylvania Youth Hockey
Especially when you lose games at the AA level it goes against the whole "Aaa" thing (although yes I realize all those squirts are in their minor year. All the teams ("AAA" and below) are all ranked together at the squirt age though because as pointed out there is no tier 1/Tier 2. -
Well if it's 3 hour drive for them and they are going to have weird restrictions sounds like a waste of time to try to schedule. I'll wait til clearer rules come out. Thanks to both of you.

Because it gets lost in the Quinlan/Fauci world of sorrow, does anyone have friends or contacts in Michigan? It looks like they can play regular games at the Midget/Bantam level (other levels too) with two spectators per athlete. Can anyone confirm? I want to reach out and schedule some games.

The Vengeance/SCIR hybrid teams are squirts. No tier 1 as mentioned elsewhere. Also who cares? -

So there are not a lot of specifics here but even Michigan's governor looks like she is now being less restrictive than Wolf. https://www.clickondetroit.com/news/local/2020/09/03/gov-whitmer-reopens-michigan-gyms-and-pools-allows-organized-sports-to-resume/?outputType=amp For indoor sports, 2 guests allowed per participant in the stands. -

I'm not even sure I can follow what they are arguing about to be honest. -

Squirt minor AA SCIR team last year was the Vengeance 2010 team and 09 before that and 08 before that. I believe that's how they sell their program - play a pahl and aaa schedule. I do not believe the 08s played peewee pahl last year and I don't believe the 09s are this year so it might just be a squirt thing. -

There is a clause in the rules that specifically limits "Sports" to 25. That means Yes, Bethel or RMU or Ice Castle can have 50% for even Open Skate, but not for "sports". -
Seeking 1-3 AA or AAA forwards for a tourney or 2 @18u
aaaahockey replied to Wes's topic in Western Pennsylvania Youth Hockey
Checking. Ohio is pretty sensible about their rules. Based on capacity of the building (like everything but sports here) and they require masks and social distancing indoors. It isnt "anything goes" nor is it "omg you can't come in the building but go ahead and drink in the parking lot" - both of which occur around here. -

Any idea what the senate version of this is doing? -

Can also confirm - my two oldest (midget/bantam) have both played there multiple times with some social distancing/masking requirements but not the nuttiness our governor/health department requires. -

It passed through the committee (smaller portion of the house) meaning now if it gets put on the house agenda it will have to be passed by the entire house. At the same time it will have to go through the same process on the Senate side and both House and Senate will have to vote for it as a whole with over 2/3 majority each to keep the governor from vetoing it. -

I just don't want someone getting all uptight and saying it was actually the people who they saw at Alpha. Those people were probably just enjoying the games and fuming silently inside. -
Maybe he can invite Pensmom66 or whatever over for a scrimmage ??

Midam/USA hockey decision on hockey

Guys i am pretty sure she is fake. I actually do believe some pens families went to see the tournament at Alpha, but I truly don't believe they would be dumb enough to sign onto this forum and post what she has posted. I think someone is pretending to be someone else. The reactions are hilarious though so I am enjoying it. -

The funniest thing is this person said she was happy the pens were responsible but then exposed her whole family to the irresponsibility because she's nosy ?. That's one of the funniest things I've ever heard, assuming she is a real person posting and not just trolling.
