PIAA made their decision, links should be coming out shortly. The PIAA are not going to listen to the gov and resume fall sports next week. Curious how schools handle this.

I would expect PAHL within the age groups where PPE terminated their Black teams to be pretty competitive, as most of those players had to look elsewhere and have landed on various PAHL AA or independent AA / AAA teams.

Cowbell. Another suggestion is to get a few other parents on board and submit the complaint jointly. It will have a greater impact and will lessen the effect on your personal relationship with the local coordinator. You'll also need others to support your complaint so it's not a he said she said type of thing. And by all means if something illegal (from abuse to theft) report it immediately to the local authorities. Best of luck and hope for the quickest of resolution.

The community coming together didn't necessarily mean physically. It meant that's the tie that holds community pride together. That was a straw man, fear mongering argument.

I guess everything will be great now. I hope the football, basketball & hockey teams can advise the marching bands how to enjoy their activity more. They practice in small, socially distanced groups and wear masks unless their actively blowing their horns. The sports teams need to demonstrate to the musicians how to safely breath in each others faces. They also won't be allowed to actually perform in the stadium.
