  1. Damn that's a shame. Always hear about some of the great venues teams travel to for nationals, and these players will wrap up their youth careers at delmont.

  2. Parking at Delmont shouldn’t be a problem. Lol.

  3. 4 from NA has to be in this list. Hands down one of the best skaters in PIHL. Top defenseman by far in the league. 74 CP is definately right behind him. 4 is the total package.

  4. Not to mention that parking is in the back of the building, largely, and you have to walk around the building to the front, with essentially no sidewalks, to enter the building. A ridiculous choice for such a significant tournament.

  5. That place can't even handle a standard tournament in terms of parking even with the small parking addition they did in the rear. And to top it off there is literally nowhere nearby that people can park and walk. That not a venue that I would have chosen for Nationals.

  6. Bishop Canevin represented PIHL D-2 very well at USA Hockey High School Nationals. Made it to the semis and lost against PREP team from Illinois who won the championship. 3 players in the top 15

  7. Where is all this ice time coming from? The organization as a whole has less than 10 hours of ice per week and they are floating 3 practices a week for AA and 2 for single A. Unless they only have 2 or 3 teams the math doesn't work unless the 3 ice slots a week are half ice with another team.

  9. Sounds like you might be one of the crazy parents if you are defending that kind of behavior from adults at a peewee game ?

  10. Good timing- was just checking out the board when I saw this. They do have a nice group of players- a good team for sure. They might be very well building a solid program. My comment had nothing to do with the players, coaches, or organization for that matter. That's why I limited it to a specific team. As to the parents this year, I wasn't going to get into details and hoping a passing comment would be enough of a contribution to this discussion, but since you asked and want support because you might be challenging my statement (and this is all first hand knowledge)- -Yelling and taunting a kid from another team on the ice during a game, as he walked off, and making comments to him while he walked through the lobby -Screaming at their team to "take out #..." when they were losing -Having a parent, during the handshake line, yell "girls shouldn't be playing hockey" to the 2 girls on the opposing team in a game they lost -Parents, on 2 occasions in just 3 games I saw, got kicked out of the stands for going at the refs (verbally) My point of "taking the cake" is that at 11-12 years old, I've never seen parents, during and after a game, taunting and interacting with the opposing team's players like they did.

  11. Talk about crazy parents. That 12u AA aviators team takes the cake in my book.

  12. Well said -I have had zero connection with this organization however here you are, trying to make a difference. good on you. Every org has its deadwood douchebags that need to be weeded out - every single one. My guess is thirty years from now @Clonbur will be holding court in a wheel chair boring his grandkids to death with war stories about the misgivings of NHAHA and how he was the prophet and truth-teller of the organization, all the while abandoning it many years ago but talking about it as if he still had skin in the game.
