(cheaper ice) along with the entry fee and fee bucks for coaches - my guess you guys are pocketing about 4k Your partner who schedules the ice at alpha is just going to sell the dead time he can’t sell. no scouts that matter attended that tournament anymore. Those days are long gone. You’ll find a few tier 3 junior recruiters & advisors (people that want the kids for money) that’s about it.

Na3hl is tier 3 P2P. Vengeance are also tier 3 P2P - their league (usphl) is not affiliated with usa hockey, similar to AAU.

Keystone revived that team ? A few years back it was kids from PSU - the kids playing on the ACHA team that still had eligibility at the youth level, along with some of their friends. They would play some tournaments from time to time.

I’ve seen both of my boys take dirty hits, punches & head shots when they were playing. Shaler player had two minors, Latrobe kid who’s dad is a complete dbag had one minor. No fights in the game, no 2/10’s, no majors. Mr Meyers admits to the police & in the police report he wanted to confront the minor after he got off the ice. could the shaler parents have handled the situation better ? Probably but we don’t know what threats were made towards their son - their actions are still inexcusable. I must apologize for an earlier post asking where the coaches were. both team’s coaches were still leaving the ice. It’s clear on these videos.

One thing that always bothered me - opposing parents yelling at the kids on the other team. Goto a pens game if you want to do that. These are kids. I’ve seen crazy parents scream half a game “number xx has a problem get him off the ice!!” Because their kid took a bump from number xx.

This odd thing to me - coaches are normally the last to leave the ice with the officials. Where were they ? You can see the Zamboni running in the background. That player did not just walk up there and charge, a verbal altercation was going on of some sort before the fight. it’s sad in general, it appears to me a Latrobe parent was fighting with a shaler parent for whatever reason. This player decided to get involved, I’m assuming it’s his father or a family member. with out knowing all the facts it’s really just a sad situation that most likely could have been avoided.

Principal Mike - it appears you’ve let two separate incidents with the varsity team get pushed under the rug after your apologetic post.

Not to pile on to the old armstrong incident with the female goalie BUT talking about shaler with a friend still in the know - one of armstrongs better, younger players quit the varsity team after Christmas. His team gift was a dildo or vibrator. a few of the players called him a 3 letter word starting with F after receiving the gift in his bag. my point - this shaler incident is sad, but appears to be an idiot parent or two along with a hot head player. Armstrong just keeps on rolling along hiding issues. The armstrong principal that came on here and posted all that non sense about not tolerating such acts etc, did ya do anything about the under classman last month that quit ? NOPE!
