Way too many games. I assume it will get fixed with a second sheet but the other issue is not enough ice for enough practices. Assuming you want 3 practices per game no way they are coming close to that ratio.

Does this only impact preds AAA or their AA and below teams too?

Some of those people are ANCIENT on the board. It's probably been 8 years since I looked at that list and half are the same. Why don't we all get to vote like most hockey orgs send out a ballot? Insanity!

Probably the easiest solution is to let them in the playoffs but ban the billet player from playing as ineligible. Then getting their butts kicked in the first round would be good karma anyway.

Yeah I don't think Pens have ever cared about their black teams as long as the money comes in.

I went out with my brother to watch some 09 "AAA" teams in Johnstown this weekend. Have to say it was honestly some good hockey. Very competitive games including some Philly teams and more locally Esmark, Preds, and SHAHA. Esmark ended up winning the championship. The games were excellent and competitive and made me wish we had a high level league where these types of teams could play regularly. Maybe it is coming now that SHAHA and esmark are competitive with the Pens teams but as a region we really need to get our crap together.

He does but he also strikes me as one of their more competent coaches to be honest. Played a lot of hockey and knows the game well. Can't say for certain but just from seeing him coach from a distance.

Probably. Gives them a chance to fix the place up and assess without people in and out for a couple months.

Yeah I'm pretty sure no one is worried about when Mon Valley tryouts are compared to the National Championships. Additionally, there are some teams that need to rush tryouts because their ice is gone in the summer.

Oh that's a big ouch for people thinking the commute would be better. Hopefully they are honest about that for people who ask.

Does the bottom left text also mean they are going to try to field a faux AAA team at all levels also?
