  1. What locker room are you in ???!!! I kid it's a good point about locker rooms. ?
  2. I'm not sure A) This will mention hockey and B) it will impact any hockey except for school hockey even if it does, but this could be interesting especially because they are going to address indoor specifically: https://tribhssn.triblive.com/gov-wolf-schools-will-receive-updated-guidance-on-sports-spectators-this-week/
  3. Well the law is gone as of yesterday so good for them
  4. Probably too soon to react to the court decision + the stuff I was asking earlier about what to do if the season switched mid season
  5. Yes I guess it depends on your definition of private but almost all the rinks are holding to some sort of restriction. Seems like RMU, Baierl, and Shahas ymca are very strict. But even other rinks are cautious about allowing other teams to come play even if they are bending the rules with parents for practices or private practices. I'm not sure a single rink is "business as usual".
  6. I hope so. As bad as it's going to be for our taxes in the future, we need something like that to prevent this stuff from happening again in the future.
  7. I agree with you there too about the rinks. According to to the lawyer video posted above we can play full games based on mid am guidance.
  8. So what I am hearing is we can now have full hockey games until Wolf gets his stay and since his order was vacated MidAm would approve since we would be following state law.
  9. Yeah you two both are hitting on my main questions. I can see some real heat coming if some teams play "real" games and some play limited player games, especially if some are more than others because of venue or timing.
  10. Here is another question - if we start the season with some weird format is everyone ok if we were to be able to switch halfway through to a different format? Could make for some interesting arguments.
  11. It's all political - what about it? We can all decide how "purely" based on the opinion itself but a lot of the points are important - can an executive unilaterally decide when to lock down private business? With no metrics? With no timeline?
  12. I wonder if that has an impact on ice rinks? I'm sure Wolf will appeal and maybe get an emergency injunction to stop them from opening anything.
  13. I'm in the middle myself honestly. I'm OK with some common sense regulations actually based on data, with metrics, and with a start and end date. It makes sense to me, for instance, if someone says "You must wear a mask on public transportation" and well within the government's right to require that. When it comes to the government telling private businesses and people on private property what to do it gets a lot more complex and dicey. When they are regulating private property but still allowing other things to happen that benefit themselves or their ideological viewpoint.....we really have gone down a rabbit hole. I'm most angry because the state/county/etc. are so worried about counting how many beers we drink and what kind of food we are eating that they aren't even protecting the vulnerable folks in the nursing homes.
  14. Yeah I heard something like 15% bump for payments. It's terrible. If you could prove/show me the coach had a regular, prescribed dosage of sleeping medication I'd be shocked. Secondly, the "lol" was obviously about the joke related to fish bowl cleaner but someone from texas who apparently decided to join a western pa hockey board to warn of of the dangers of mixing Covid and sleeping pills decided to call me out.
  15. Sure just like the guy killed by lightning working on the roof.
  16. I thought PPE weren't playing games until next month (road only?) but not sure. Haven't heard anything about Vengeance. As to your second question - yes ?
  17. So a guy overdosed on sleeping pills and you are calling that a Covid death. Wonder why some of us are skeptical about the numbers.
  18. Lol I was wondering the same thing. Wtf did he overdose on? Sounds like someone overdosed on drugs and it got mis-labeled as Covid or the family felt better pretending that was why the drug abuse was going on.
  19. He hasn't vetoed it yet. He will likely sit on it for 10 days to get as many votes lined up as possible and it doesn't become law til he signs it or the veto gets override so that buys him more time. In other news here is a strategy, just claim you don't have the capacity to police people and let whoever the hell you want in https://pittsburgh.cbslocal.com/2020/09/12/high-school-football-fans-in-stands-week-1/
  20. Speaking from the crapper at 10 pm the dark version is welcome
  21. Maybe the AA kids parents didn't kiss the right butt to get on the team. Seems like everyone knows whose butt to kiss to make "aaa" at lebo.
  22. Unfortunately they are going to vote not to override the veto because wolf threatens to withhold local funding from the Dems who vote against him. Let's see...
  23. Pretty sure he meant the governor was doing the arm twisting and we will see the true results when the veto override vote comes up.
  24. I bet some of the legislature chickens out and doesn't override the veto but we will see.
