Sweet Jesus. Is this thread still going on? It was good for the first few pages when there was some constructive talk of how PAHL could get better in order to keep teams from going independent. Then it went into the all too inevitable death spiral of “PPE or nothing” “faux AAA” “all ends in beer league” last week. Some sour people out there lol.2 points

I have no idea but didn't have a squirt last year. I don't remember many aviators teams in general last year though I was just teasing about how the Preds 09 team did last year.1 point

Goalie coaches especially are a highly individual choice. You can see that with goalies even at the highest level - NHL goalies frequently have issues when their goalie coach changes for some reason. You really need to take the time and talk to the coaches. Shane Clifford is a highly regarded goalie coach in the area, but there are others as well.1 point

I really enjoyed wandering around Alpha and watching all the different games during St Margaret's. It was fun seeing all the kids we've come to know over the years playing in all the games. It was well done.1 point

I don't think that is the reason. I think it has to do with most smaller organizations are the only game in town. Thus, the parent of a high level AA or AAA kid must decide if he or she wants to drive to another organization with a better team or not. Or stay put and have their kid dominate at A Major Black. This is usually the case in Squirts and to a lesser extent peewee.1 point
