He is saying 2011 all by team will play against mix BY teams. Toronto they play against same BY teams. Typically an all BY team gets slaughtered all year by the mixed teams.

He wasnt over the top. He did hold the kids accountable and did not allow the kids to goof off. He kept it appropriate for 9-12 years olds. He has help wit other coaches as well and they are solid.

My squirt went to a Yuri camp. Money well spent. Called Interel Hockey. On and off ice training, learned about respect and teamwork, stretching and diet

For the money I really like the RMU powerskating. Marianne Watkins is tough and really works the kids. Yuri's camp was great too.

Thank you to all the folks that understood what I was asking. Which was recommendations on supplementing other sports and/or clinics during this hockey season.

So in you experience you would not suggest any additional season skating or training outside of regular practice or games? Asking for a friend.

Dads, Moms, or coaches out there. Any advice on preparing ahead for Peewee tryouts next spring? Any supplemental prep in addition to current A Major travel hockey schedule? e.g. additional power skating, clinics, dryland, nothing? Feedback is appreciated.

Not too much of a shake up. Renegades moved down from 12U AA so now 2 teams for them in Major black. Lebo and Beaver move up from major white.

This is true. Close to 130 kids signed up. Had heard NP was early and before RMU and Butler and therefor parents had kids try out and in event they did not make it they couls try the others. My wife heard this from another hockey mom so I am not sure if that was a reason for increase in tryout numbers. They also added a 6th travel team. hockey is thriving!

Rico Im not sure what ur deal is. The is the second time you have gotten confrontational on the thread I started. My family is new to the area and new to hockey. I came here trying to look for advice and have a general conversation to understand hockey, politics, and the “how to prepare my kids.” For the most part it has been a positive experience. Then you spew garbage out of your mouth and make accusations. Not everyone is as knowledgeable as you. And if someone says “play above their means” how am i supposed to know what this means? Maybe Im just not intelligent
