Ihearthockey
Seems like the BY11 group is getting alot of attention? Is there something I don't know about this group? Icemen have created a AA/AAA Indep BY11 team now, as well as Esmark. Vengeance has been going a couple years in that program. Preds have an Independent team. Now breaking the mold, NP is putting together its first BY team ever in this age group. Is this a big group with enough talent to spread around? aaaahockey
No. That doesn't stop any of the other birth years either.
forbin
The 2011 birthyear IS rather deep with talent all things considered. Does it warrant 5-6 "AAA" teams in this area? No, of course not, but that's not stopping people from doing it.
Saucey
They know that the parents don't know any better. Hook em into the AAA while you can.
hockeyisgreat
Don't all organizations have BY13 teams also? Out of the gate fast and hard with AAA, AA teams! It's all crazy!
Duster19
We need a new designation of Quad A. AAAA hockey!!!
TeamRamRod
I heard that the Iceman 2011BY team was mostly made up of North Pittsburgh's squirt AA team from this season that wanted to stay together. North Pittsburgh's announcement of a 2011 BY team was in response to that I assume. I heard some kids are now staying at North Pgh so we'll see if they end up having enough to field a team. I also saw something advertised recently about the Erie Jr. Otters fielding a 2011 AAA team. It's all pretty insane.
Duster19
And supposedly the NP guy leading the charge to the Yetis took his kid and a few others to vengeance. You can change the BY but this has happened year after year.
Saucey
Someone was asking how PAHL can retain players and there was all this fancy talk about what is wrong with PAHL. Add an 'A' to the AA designation, obviously. ? And just let the parents pick the teams! 1
