All PAHL reps aren't on the placement committee. Best case they attend the monthly meetings and are privy to whatever update the placement committee gives.

Ever consider that there is an MHR volunteer on the PAHL placement committee? The committee has a few left brained mathy types, which coincidentally fits the profile of most MHR volunteers.

That's a pretty dubious alignment for a youth association. I would stay away and if you have no other choice, keep an eye on your wallet and ask a lot of questions.

Oh for sure not making playoffs. But won't be dead last. Even with a .900 goalie you aren't going to win if you give up 50+ shots every game.

Why not just put it on youtube to begin with?

Icemen 18u will be better this year - the goalie is outstanding and they have lots of returning 03s. They will not be bottom this year.

No. Playing a local schedule would give credibility/plausibility to other orgs and they have nothing to gain by doing that. If they win, they were supposed to win. If they lose, then they are exposed as noncontenders.

They all walked away from PAHL to begin with, citing that they were too good for the local competition.

This won't get participation from the teams that are true national contenders. And by the way, they all think they are national contenders.
