PUCKCOVID19 Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 still trying to save a dead in the water team with very little community backing? Give up even if it would be saved once you burn through the money raised it will be in the same place. 1

Sounds like a fun event even if the cause might have no future. 1

hockeyisgreat Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 I'm still going even if it is a lost cause! 1

So how was this event? Did it get a lot of people? I know a lot of teams were out of town at tournaments this weekend.
hockeyisgreat Posted November 8, 2021 Posted November 8, 2021 I should have checked Pittsburgh Hockey Digest before I posted. They did a great job with a lot of fun pictures. Looked like a neat event. Couldn't tell much about the crowd from the pictures!
Lifelongbender Posted November 8, 2021 Posted November 8, 2021 That looks like a fantastic event. I can't believe the OTB boys were there. Also, congrats to the guy who got to "square off" with Brett Keisel on the ice. That pic would go on my mantle forever. They look like they had a blast faking that fight. 1

I had the privilege of helping “transport” Brett a few years ago for an event. He is one of the most genuine, humble and friendly celebrity/athletes I’ve ever met. Great to hear for all involved. 1
sadday4hockey Posted November 8, 2021 Posted November 8, 2021 That he is and it's a strong possibility that he will be shearing the beard in the spring. 1
